Folks hope you like this Refreshed edit of one of our most favorite videos! Of all Smooth Gefixt videos we thought this was the one who deserved a new change! Should definitely be worth watching, also if you have already seen the original;) Stay tuned for Friday next week when we try to be back with some Fresh Hardcore Survival Content! P.S. This summer hopefully Titanic 2.0 unsinkable stufff!
really god edit I didn't realize it was the same video until the raft started sinking again and I was like surely they wouldn't build a sinking raft again :-).
Really good work guys! I would need to re watch the original video but a small feedback I felt like the music and effects took over the usual Smoothfix conversation banter. Looking forward for your next videos.
After watching your Q&A videos, I realized why you two are the coolest, you have been doing this since you guys are little kids! And yeah Jul likes making movies so no wonder why video production is epic. Keep up the good work! Stay safe.
You guy's give me a chance to enjoy the great outdoors and what I'd be doing if I wasn't disabled and unable to do bush crafting adventures. I still get out and hunt and fish but that's about as far as I take it since I'm alone and don't have anyone close of I get in trouble. Keep pumping out the great vids. Kyle
16:00 - 16:50 was absolutely hilarious. I loved the epic music into the silence... and the banter was hilarious. I honestly thought that raft would float perfectly but damn, you needed just a bit more wood or even a third bundle in the middle.
I thought I was having deja Vue when Jager jumped into the firewood pile on the raft. lol the new edit was very nice. I would like to see more long form documentary style videos on your conservation causes.
It's like watching the Titanic movie, you know how it ends!!😄 The changes are great . You really get the sense of fun and adventure you had making it. Well done!
You guys have to do this challenge again and don't limit your paracord so you can build something to float and camp a good night out. Love stuff like this!
"Oh you fool." " Is he gone? " "Yeah..." (smirk) " your not even angry on me?" "Christ, there's no point is there?" Absolutely love the dynamic here. Keep it up ouwe!
I love you guys, and I love your videos! Every time I see the part of this video where you guys both get on and the raft is a few inches in the water and you guys start talking about how you're gonna sleep on it I can't help but start laughing.
I love how creative you guys are getting with the post production side of things. So awesome. I also liked the old fun way, but both work. Best wildcrafting and survival channel hands down.
Well, look at the bright side. At least you didn't have to worry about the raft catching on fire 😁 Too bad you couldn't have built it here up in Canada, and used some bigger logs. They used to make some pretty big rafts back in the day.
Hi guys. I just wanted to say that your production quality has noticeably improved over the last few months. Video is sharper, and shots seem better framed. Sound is better and the use of music is nice. I would like to hear a little voice over now and again to explain your thoughts during the episodes. All in all nice improvements. Jager is still the most popular with the girls in my house.🙂
Paracord, aka 550 cord (so named because a single line of cord holds 550 lbs.) has internal threads that can be stripped out in survival situations. Each thread being strong enough to hold a log raft together. Basically you have way more line there to work with. Good surviving.
You two are my ideals I love nature and the wilderness because of you two and I am so happy that I found your Channel and you should try and come up two north Maryland (America) it is full of mountains and oak.
love these videos man! you guys have such great attitudes towards life, it's inspiring :) ps - bum crack at 24:14 , you thought we wouldn't see but we did ;)
Consider to have only 1 person sleeping on it if it doesn't have sufficient buoyency next time! Very cool vid. Love the drone footage, music and the moral dilemma's during the fishing.
Yeah i liked it the first time and i sure liked it the second time, furthermore i hope to see another try on this challange in the upcomming summer. Here me out on my advise for ya: Look for some bigger trees first and prepare them for your basement of the raft - at least 3, better 4 (the more of them u produce, the more buoyancy they will provide). Notch them on any 1 side and hollow them with controlled fire. It will replace lots of water for swimming, while lowering the overall mass of your raft - providing better floatability in general. Arrange them in line with at least 1m space between them and build everything else in top of them. One of you guys should stay by them trees all the time, so you can be sure having total control of the hollowing process and also hollow them all simultanously. The other one prepares the deck and everything else (fire wood etc.) Good luck.
Hey you guys do an amazing raft but what you should do is make a raft in the amount of 4 to 6 days if you could then spend the night on it no limit of paracord so you can actually make it sturdy and possibly able to float

I think that raft is a little bit small for 2 man and a dog 😁 but like your idea very much. In my country, bamboo is better for raft because of its hollow stem, but I don't think you can find any bamboo in yours.
11:09 ... if i was with you guys eating too - the words "peanuts" would mean I am dead!! I am 10/10 allergic and being in the wilderness after eating them would not be good xD
So that was a remake of the video. next we want to see the redo of the challenge. you can't go with an unsolved problem. in the scenario your still in the wilderness 🏝🏝

The edit is top notch. I didn’t realise it was a re-edit at first. 😂 Couldn’t believe it when this raft sat too low in the water like the first one!!
You should actually do this one again but wit your better knowledge on it now
really god edit I didn't realize it was the same video until the raft started sinking again and I was like surely they wouldn't build a sinking raft again :-).

looking forward to 2.0!
Make a tree house and spend the night in a tree
would be awesome!
Be funny if they did and just like the raft they could only stand in a corner each 😂

That fish dropping is hilarious xD It's where the dynamic of those two personalities shines.

Next up: make a permanent treehouse
Yes!!!!!!!!!!
That would be interesting to see

The Saints playing Huckleberry fin, pretty cool👍🏻 Jager is like the perfect companion.
"Oh you fool."
" Is he gone? "
"Yeah..."
(smirk)
" your not even angry on me?"
"Christ, there's no point is there?"
Absolutely love the dynamic here. Keep it up ouwe!
Jesus Christ Lord and Saviour amen!
Definitely the best episode now!!! Lol the fish killing part got me! 🤣
Guys that is a complete success!
I love you guys, and I love your videos! Every time I see the part of this video where you guys both get on and the raft is a few inches in the water and you guys start talking about how you're gonna sleep on it I can't help but start laughing.
I'm VERY glad you had the good sense to sleep on dry land. Better luck next time!
Smiling laughing... "Never know what them veeganz are up to."
Dude duuude don't go to that side 🤣🤣 I lost it 🤣🤣
I love how creative you guys are getting with the post production side of things. So awesome. I also liked the old fun way, but both work. Best wildcrafting and survival channel hands down.
Nice work guys! That was a solid challenge!
Nice..m loving it!💕
Theses two guys always together , tough as nails funny as shit salt of the earth! One video weeks ago and instantly a man crush. Love this channel.
You guys are so underrated
Gasten blijf zo door gaan. Wat jullie doe is te gek, hopelijk ooit een goede droge vlot maar deze video's blijven goud.
Finally one of the better things of Friday
Well, another ill conceived adventure. The trick is buoyancy & flotation. Try again. But I do love your attitude. Thanks Brian 79
This was funny. Now that was a real challenge. I'm not even a survivalist. I watch these vids to get ideas for a survival game I'm making.
Excellent. My evening just got better!!
Well, look at the bright side. At least you didn't have to worry about the raft catching on fire 😁
Too bad you couldn't have built it here up in Canada, and used some bigger logs. They used to make some pretty big rafts back in the day.

Smoooooooth gefixed jonge!!!
Great video. If y'all enjoyed doing this trip maybe make a revisit with a little more time

Y’all should try this challenge again
great energy. great production.
Awesome editing style! But also keep up with the "oldschool" style, gives u more immersive experience!
Anyways, have a nice weekend guys! :)

Great video well done, raft looked great next time it will be even better.

Such a beautiful style of filming/editing.
Some seriously high production value in this one, good job boys!
Very good and unique effort👌
"well, you never know what these vegans are up to" :P
I bet he threw it back on purpose :D
That made me laugh that, proper Irish humour
@@shawndooley7778 you just have to love those guys!
I know this is over a year old , but I have to ask ..... Could Julius ever own a dog or a cat ,,, since neither can be vegan .....
Bummer I thought it was going to be a new attempt at making a raft
Same here. Was rather disappointed! I like the tree house idea.
Amazing job lads, keep up the good work.
Yes man epic
this video is on a whole other level
super mannen leuk om naar te kijken
I actually hadn’t seen the original and was thinking “Dylan looks different.. it’s his hair!” Lol great cinematography as always! Wow

Yas! I was waiting for this video! Yas!
Love you guys!
Wow, nice work!
Are u guys gonna redo this? I would love to see a successful raft camp. Great video brothers
agreed.

You didn't see them take the paracord apart to make the fishing line? They are already aware of everything you said.
well done guys as soon as you lit the fire i thought you three were going to be giving yourselves a viking funeral lol
Great editing, awesome footage and really fitting music :)
There's always time for tea
Good job sir
Fun video guys!! 😁 please take good care of that beautiful dog 😍 I was 😕 about him out there on the water! Really enjoyed the video!! 😊👍
This channel is amazing you guys are funny and skillful love it

Great video again.
23:57 totally did it on purpose ;)
Love from India... 💟
You two are my ideals I love nature and the wilderness because of you two and I am so happy that I found your Channel and you should try and come up two north Maryland (America) it is full of mountains and oak.
it's funny that in every video i watch survivalist building a raft it's always difficult, you need so much wood :D
If you tension the saw more it won’t curve as much! Try it out next time round
What does it mean to tension a saw?
@@SmallFry900 to tighten
awesome video
That was an impressive save at 26:02 !
I’m with you Julias .. killing animals is just the worst. I’m excited to see the updated raft challenge this summer.
Wow keep up THE good work
Looks like you need more wood to be bouyant! Good luck with the next try!
love these videos man! you guys have such great attitudes towards life, it's inspiring :) ps - bum crack at 24:14 , you thought we wouldn't see but we did ;)

This is cool
Wow, great job guys! rly enjoyed the musik in this one too :)
great video, love the editing Amazing videos!!!
More floaters would've been nice I'm guessing
Yeah i liked it the first time and i sure liked it the second time, furthermore i hope to see another try on this challange in the upcomming summer.

That editing job though. 🔥🔥🔥
Omggg!!
Its sur real!!
I saw your video and clicked right away
Should have took out 4 decent length logs and and lashed your platform up slightly nice solid platform to fish from and nice n dry to sleep on !
knap gedaan zeg!
Yyyeeesss love it hello this week
11:09 ... if i was with you guys eating too - the words "peanuts" would mean I am dead!! I am 10/10 allergic and being in the wilderness after eating them would not be good xD
Might just be me, but I prefer musicless videos. The sound of chopping and sawing and such is soothing
whats your backpack? I like the build
18:55 Did you guys not worry about the rocks will be exploding?
Well done guys , remember it’s only a failure if you don’t learn anything from it 😁
So that was a remake of the video.
next we want to see the redo of the challenge.
you can't go with an unsolved problem. in the scenario your still in the wilderness 🏝🏝
I watched this thinking 'wow, they're making the exact same mistakes as last time!' before I realised it was a re-edit. Nice fresh cuts though!
Second smaller raft for firewood and less essential gear?
