I'm proud that you are being such a great spokesperson for American agriculture. You have a way of explaining things that I can't. Thank you for what you are doing! Can't wait for more!
Being a daddy is the best job you'll ever have Zach. Enjoy every minute because before you know it they're all grown up and gone. You're a good daddy son...the world needs more of those! God bless.
Your little girl is so adorably cute! And you’re such a sweet father to her! I love that you picked her up from preschool with your tractor. And I bet it didn’t seem unusual to anyone seeing it!!
I remember not that long ago we had a feed store in our town, Yoakum Gin and Feed. They had a corn mill that was used to make fresh corn meal. Mr. Tommy owned the company and had a corn meal grinder in his store. It had two round stones that ground human quality corn into corn meal. He would sell it for about .30 cents a pound. When I got back to my home town I would stop and get about 25-30lbs of fresh ground corn meal. It was course ground and very moist. It sure made some great home made corn bread. Since then Mr. Tommy passed away and the business turned into a modern farm & ranch store. I often wonder where is there a gin that you could buy freshly ground corn meal.
Pretty nice new mower! My favorite parts were you picking up your daughter from preschool and giving her flowers! It’s great to see families spend time together no matter what they are doing.
We need more videos with the little one ( i dont know how to spell her name sorry) her innocents really brings the video together. Got yourself a great little girl there and youre a great father.
You sir are one of the coolest Farmers I've ever scene on UA-cam you care for your family you spend time with your daughter picking corn and getting picked up in a tractor that is so cute that's priceless Memories. I live in Minnesota Minnesota weather is tough some days with the snow and the rain but somehow watching your videos you just keep pushing through thank you for what you do out there feeding us Americans.
This reminds me of our senior prank that turned into a yearly tradition at my high school. We decided it would be cool to drive to school in various agricultural equipment. 2018 marks the 10th year anniversary in fact. The highschool thought it was cool too, however they did set some ground rules. No combines, no high crops, semis can't have trailers, tractors can't have implements attached, and no dual wheeled tractors.
Eric Chandler, we have a drive your tractor to school day, our rules are no hauling implements, but 3 point hitch ones are fine. And the tractor must be able to start and drive slow enough in the parade. No lawn tractors, and only tractors.
If you're too busy and need someone to brush hog for you, I'll do it for free! I love the opportunity to be outdoors, especially in nice weather. Love the smell of fresh cut grass & hay.
old vid, but ive only recently started watching, i enjoy all your content, but i had to comment on this one, awesome 110% parenting, your an amazing father to them and they are some lucky kids, A+ man awesome to see :D
God and Jesus bless America and hardworking farmer that is so beautiful seeing a kid and it's a daughter or son working with a father that would make america a beautiful country
I always enjoy hedge cutting for that same reason that it can be very satisfying and can make you forget about the crick it induces in your shoulder, back and neck
I know it’s not solely the reason you show interaction with your little girl, but keep it up. You’re doing a great job of being a present dad. Not a checked out Dad. There’s a lot of boys that grow up to be dads that don’t have or never had a good example of being a dad. Time with your children is priceless. They’re your legacy. God bless from South Texas.
@@underground8346I made $45/hr in Ohio as a lineman. There were certainly closer options to your kids than you chose. That's beside the point. This isnt the forum to stand on your soap box.
You picking your daughter up from school in the tractor was pretty cool to see. BTW if it were me I would move one of the two wheel and hub set ups from the wing to the center section of the shredder so that you have four total in the middle and one on each wing. The reason I say this is because when the wings are up all the weight is on the tires and components on the center section.
It's been pretty warm and Dry over here in SE MN the last week or so! Soy Beans are getting harvested! Keep the videos coming love watching a local farmer!
Your daughter reminds me of my daughter when we grow corn. She loves being the corn fields and our pumpkin field. Seeing their smiles being out there is priceless in my opinion. No matter what it is that I’m doing on the tractors, my kids practically fight for a ride on the tractor even if I’m just getting fuel lol.
My son-in-law's father planted a cover crop of those radishes. I tried eating them too but one bite was enough. Your daughter is a cutie. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, he's the best I've seen. Young man will do good at anything he undertakes. But we need to help get to 100 k subs by years end. Be sure and tell your friends.
I’m bing watching and trying to catch up with your first videos. Just want you to know I enjoy seeing your operation and your family. Great job with both.
Aweee bless her heart. Made my day seeing a little len happy on a farm whilst being loved by her dad! Great videos as always Sir, I and a few of my mates love your channel and watch you frequently and will continue to do so. Many thanks, Charlie Ong.
Awesome to see your little one out in the field with you. Even if she decides to go into a different direction, career wise, she will always remember these times I’m sure! Keep up the awesome work both in the field and with the family.
That GMO corn line gave me a giggle. At the same time, we don't have GMO corn for a few miles near us lately. (along with really aggressive spray laws) We got a lot of mason bees, butterflies, and all kinda pollinators these days we haven't had for years. Since I was a little kid. It took 3 years to recover.
the corn you pulled looked great! lol - pick up daughter from preschool in the tractor, loved it... from a 6 foot to a 15 foot wow now that's an upgrade in tool size.... I'm so looking forward to combine rides with you again this year... another thumbs up video, thanks.
Sunday September 15 just drove through MN on highway 23 from SD I think some one turned the corn dryer on. 90 degrees and windy. We have been having some good crop drying weather. Good luck on the harvest.
MN Millennial Farmer Hey mate, did you say that you are surprised by the butterfly being alive near the cornfields ? All the best with the harvest mate, and hi to the cute little farmer for us here down under
Lucky man living on a farm. Country boy stuck in the city here. I do get the privilege of hunting a private farm in Eastern Michigan every October/November though. My favorite place to go, take my daughter's out there and let them shoot my AR. Priceless
With only single wheels on the center of that mower be sure to give the hubs a little extra time and attention. We run dual wheels on centers and eat hubs on the regular. We mow right of way so run them hard but still.
Great video on how and what too for farming. Please thought be careful with that cute little gal or kids around the equipment. So far in the last year have lost two farm friends in accidents from working too many hours and mistakes. Then neighbors 12 year old granddaughter was killed when the 14 year old was driving and they have no respect for speed and what these machines can do with no respect for life. I have worked on the farm for my 73 years and slowed down now to tell fellow farmers to take your time before jumping into something to be safe. Keep up the good work and give that little gal a hug from me.
Nice looking 90-100 day corn. The farmer's daughter knows how to pick a big one. We stopped growing dent corn many years ago. The cattle feeders like high test weight of flint types that have long starch fill period. If our Summer days were like yours, we would be in heaven but could not grow high yield corn and cotton or is that Heaven! We have to spray cotton with regulators to keep down it size and stop new fruiting.
Love your videos I own a farm south of England and it’s great to see how or farming friends do it on the over side of the pond keep them coming god bless you and your family 🚜🚜🚜🏴🇺🇸👍👍
The skid steer horizontal brush hog will mulch a 8" tree stem. Great to reclaim old farm land and building lots. We stockpile tree limbs with 3' x 150" fur/hemlock for replanting. A 30-40 YEAR cycle. Cedar blocks straight grain is $2100 per cord. Curious about leveling machines and rock picking? Curious about moisture non irrigation historical record? Curious equipment storage versus vehicles storage?
What a great video, Zach! Isla is just the cutest little girl, my wife just adores her!! I'm really looking forward to seeing a harvest in action. Wish I could come help out, that'd be a blast! (And probably the hardest work I've ever done in my life, being a city boy... LOL) THANKS for the great video, and I hope to see some race action soon, too! Rock on, Millennial Farmer! 🤘
Just came across your channel, bringing back memories of my time on the MAST program, run by the U of M. I was based near Appleton in the lower West area of the state for 9 months. I am reminded of the Minnesota accent, Lutefisk and The Gophers.
And you're spot on, mowing seems to be oddly comforting and satisfying...I think it's because the results are immediately visible...
Like pressure washing lol
Parent of the year right here
Made it 200 likes 😃

Your little girl is so adorably cute! And you’re such a sweet father to her! I love that you picked her up from preschool with your tractor. And I bet it didn’t seem unusual to anyone seeing it!!
Holy moly Isla is adorable. Good job dad.
your daughter is absolutely precious and adorable, im usually not a person to find kids cute but she's an angel for sure
She's so sweet good love her heart reminds me of my 3 beautiful nieces. Nothing more relaxing than running a batwing mower in a cab tractor.
Love the farmers and the life they instill in the young ens
She is a doll for sure.
Enjoy every second with her that you can. She will be grown and gone before you know it.
Im glad to see that you take time to be a father as busy as you are!! These days thats rare tech. Has split famlies apart. Keep up the good work.

With so many farmers selling to developers it is wonderful to hear you are opening new ground.

Your a great Father and farmer man of the year award here
You have the coolest video's and channel to watch ,thanks again for taking the time to show everything that's going on ,on your farm.
Oddly satisfying is right, I mow roads and it’s always a blast to mow 6 foot tall weeds and look behind you at a nice clean right off way 😁
Aww that's so cute daddy and his daughter doing some farm work 😊😊
Great video and your daughter is a doll. You will love watching these videos in the future of her.
Coolest dad ever!!! I would have loved to got picked up from school in the tractor and have m&ms waiting for me!!!

My school has a bring a tractor to school day, last year my pal brought their nice new Deere combine

thank you it reminded me of my daughter when she was young 30. year's ago
"This is one of those oddly satisfying jobs." Couldn't agree more. Pass after pass, oddly relaxing and satisfying to pull a brush hog,

Throw back to me and my grandad.. simple times.

They're not real good!
"can't believe that butterfly can survive out here with all that GMO corn" looooool
I like all the Damned Near Retarded jabs and the daitin' (crooked governor) jabs.
😂😂😂
if greenies refuse GMO food cause it ain't save but it is for butterflies he protected them😁
You do an amazing job on getting your point across with a little humor thrown in. Thank you sir 👍👍✌️
Yes, he's the best I've seen. Young man will do good at anything he undertakes. But we need to help get to 100 k subs by years end. Be sure and tell your friends.
when you get to operate heavy equipment AND you get to bring the little princess to work......priceless!!!
I’m bing watching and trying to catch up with your first videos. Just want you to know I enjoy seeing your operation and your family. Great job with both.
It's nice to see you take your kids out with you
Great video really enjoy it, your little girl is a star. Can’t wait for the harvest to come next week

Loved the comment about the butterfly and the GMO corn!
Farm life is best! Picking up the kids in the tractor! Best dad ever!

She is adorable. When she had the chocolate on her face she was more adorable. Angela from Maryland
That little spreader you used on the 4 wheeler looks like it does a good job
Enjoy video moving grassy areas ! 😘🚜😀 Mike from Missouri
We have about 9,500 acres under snow right now I hope you guys dont get any snow before harvest is done.
Can't wait for you guys to start Harvest! Wish i could run those Mashines! Beutiful crop you got there!

Good work! Always love to see Bush Hog represented! Made in my old hometown, Selma Alabama!
Used to love cornfields now I just think of children of the corn every time I pass one

you’re right there is something about brush hogging that’s satisfying
I wish i could be picked up from school in a tractor
That is just too cute
I was thinking the same thing. What a lucky girl.
I noticed the same thing with our radishes also. It's amazing how well they work for breaking up compaction.
My dad picked me up in a 4 wheel old JD sprayer for tobacco then we went to spray. I forgot what model it was.
I got taken to school once in a tractor but I’m from england
Great video once again. I look forward to watching your harvest videos!
I can’t wait for harvest time! You always seem to have an adventure every year.
In southern Illinois on September 8th we had 9 inches of rain in less than 12 hours, some farmers where mudding out corn so the river don't get it
He could pick me up anywhere driving anything 😊

One thing that I find more satisfying than bush hogging is picking ear corn with a one row corn picker😀
Big smile for the kid in the tractor.
Love 6our little girl. So precious
Kids r great got 2 daughters myself good job dad
Good ta see your crop growing well
What a sweet heart!
You monster, you are breaking the flowers ! xD
Very cute daughter, I wish I grew up on a farm.
Great video, Zach. Good job taking advantage of time with your kids. Especially nowadays.
Great video and thanks for explaining what black layer means.
Got picked up in a big green tractor, mowing radishes, and bringing home corn to mom... That's a future farmer if I've ever seen one.
Wow Lowry , MN. Lived there back in the day when the bar was Last Chance Saloon. Cool!
I love the bush hogs and the sound they make :)
OMG!! Your daughter stole the show!! So adorable!! :)
such a great father
