Love it!❤ I would like to purchase A 16x20 Geli plate. So lovely! And on the large paper. With a boarder! Ready to frame and hang! Just lovely pieces of art! Thank you! 😊
I did my university thesis on her, and was fortunate enough to see an exhibition of hers in London before she died. And she originated pouring on canvas, always attributed to Jackson Pollack.
She broke through so many barriers, especially because of how male-centric the art world was back then.. And I loved that she just poured oil paint liberally mixed with turpentine right on a raw canvas (a conservator's nightmare!), before moving on to acrylic paints. Your prints today are beautiful.
Super choice for inspiration and those ghosts, wow. The way the plate makes textural marks is one of the qualities that I love about the medium. I'm reviewing an old lino cut for an experiment using that and the plate. I'm over excited by the prospect. Keep inspiring us Fulton ❤
These prints are making me want to get my lazy butt up and drive over to my studio. I absolutely adore these. Some of my favorites of so many favorites of your work.
One of your very best sessions, Fulton! I'll have to watch it again on the weekend and give it a try. The second pull, in particular, interests me, and I hope I can transfer it to Canvas.
I love the soft quality of the second pull. Of all three prints, for me, it reflects Frankenthaler's piece the most, though each one is beautiful. Thank you!
Of the several books I’d recommend that include sections on Frankenthaler, Ninth Street Women by Mary Gabriel is the most informative. Another that focuses more on her paintings as part of a traveling exhibit is Women of Abstract Impressionism.
I’d just looked through a huge number of Helen’s work so this was a treat thanks! Can I ask you how you flatten your prints in order to photograph them?
Today’s prints rank in my Top 5 favorites of your work. Great effort today Fulton!
Frankenthaler is a great inspiration! These are beautiful.
Love these prints today! Wonderful: an Ode to joy!
Beautiful work. Thank you for showing your process.
Very beautiful, thank you for sharing
The second print is my absolute favorite, and all three prints are fabulous - each so unique.
Mine too! It’s surreal.
Absolutely wonderful video. I loved every print.
Great video! Buying you a coffee!
Pink and orange were made to be together! They delight and celebrate each other!and they invite any other color to join the party!

I was yelling at my phone saying don’t touch that first pull! 😂😅 So glad you left it because it is gorgeous! The 2nd one has a tropical vibe to it.

Me, too! ☺️
Beautiful prints 🤩 i love the variety of colors you have in all 3 pieces and watching how much each one changed from the initial pull. Very cool!

Victor, I so agree. 🙂

Is iridescent the same as Pearl?
yes, but different brands assign different names.
Did you read Ninth Street Women, yet?
