How time flies so fast, I remember watching these performances on lazy Sunday afternoons and watching them again today brings back old memories of my youth. She is more than just a standard, she is an inspiration.
I could still remember i was in grade V When my auntie introduce SOP and Regine to me..She said watch that girl sing. You will be stunned by how mind blowing and amazing she sings. She was singing "Narito Ako" that time, wearing a red gown with her short hair. At first, i was not that amazed by her because i also sing and i was still young that time and my tone was still thin so i can reach high songs with ease. But as the time went by, watching back to back to back every sunday, i came to realize how amazing she was as a singer. I would watch her performances at RPN, her concerts aired at GMA's sunday's box office, and would even cry if i could not be able to watch her sing because my siblings would change and watch the other channel.. She inspired me to develop my talent in singing and she is one of the reasons why i always aim to still sing high songs, develop my mixed register even if i am a male. She was and will always be my number 1 IDOL and as a singer, I always look up to her. Many new singers will come and may sing better than her but they will never be able to achieve what she has achieved. They will never attain what she has attained like how she continues to inspire me and many other singers.There can only be one "Freaking Regine Velasquez". THE ONLY ONE SONGBIRD, THE UNPARALLEL, THE UNMATCHED, THE ORIGINAL BIRIT QUEEN, QUEEN REGINE... By the way, I am 32 years old now and I Will continue to love and idolize her just how i idolized her way back when i was still in grade V. I will forever be a fan..

Year 2022 na pero sa tuwing napapanood ko itong prime belting nya ay masasabi mo nalang na sya pa rin talaga ang pinaka the best kasi kahit ilang libong beses mo pang balikan itong SOP performance ay hindi nakakasawang pakinggan at para kang nanonood ng live concert pag napanood mo ito at mas ok audio ng mic nya dito kaysa sa ASAP. Madaming dumating na baguhang singer pero madaling kumupas mga kanta pero kay Regine habambuhay ng nakatatak sa puso at isip ng mga tao dahil hanggang ngayon ay patuloy pa ring kinakanta mga kanta nya at patuloy pa ring pinag-aaralan mga technique nya sa pagkanta para gayahin. Kaya sobrang nakakaproud na nagkaroon tayo ng isang malaki at bigating singer gaya ni Regine.

So sad to read some negative comments thrown to Asia's Song Bird Regine Velasquez, because she can't sing well now for some instances, because of her age and changes in her body that can affect her voice. But maybe those bashers really don't know what is the truth beyond Regine's musical journey. If they can only try to watch Regine's performances way way back up until now, then maybe they can understand. Some comparing her to the voices of the young singers of today. Regine is 40 now, but still, you can see her heart and passion in singing. You can also see her disappointment when she can't sang the song well in concerts. The only singer I know who didn't use lip sync just to save her concert. A true DIVA. A true professional singer. Who doesn't deserve negative comments from the others. Hi, I'm one of Regine's American fans. What an amazing singer she is ! Such power and control - wow. Regarding her change of vocal ability and 'new' sound, having her son changed her body and with the added damage caused by the acid reflux (Which I too have - it's AWFUL and goes down your windpipe right to the vocal folds...) her vocal cords have changed and she herself said that what was once very easy for her is now more difficult. She is a professional though so as I understand it, she is having top notch vocal coaching to help her regain her vocal agility. From hearing her sing Araw Gabi live on the Wish bus recently, she is in fine form and will be singing for years to come. You Filipinos have some real talent and now that we have the internet - I get to enjoy it too !!!

It will take another lifetime to have another Regine. She really set the bar so high in philippine music industry. So many singers follow her footsteps or even copy her singing style and try to surpass every rendition she made but one thing is certain Regine has a way of changing it endlessly. So many singers can definitely hit the notes with what she did on her prime the only thing they cant do is the emotion she put into it. Nobody can copy on how she give emotion to every song from her facial expression to her actions. Im so lucky to witness so many concerts in her prime and that experience will treasure for a lifetime.

But maybe those bashers really don't know what is the truth beyond Regine's musical journey. If they can only try to watch Regine's performances way way back up until now, then maybe they can understand. Some comparing her to the voices of the young singers of today. Regine is 40 now, but still, you can see her heart and passion in singing. You can also see her disappointment when she can't sang the song well in concerts. The only singer I know who didn't use lip sync just to save her concert. A true DIVA. A true professional singer. Who doesn't deserve negative comments from the others. Hi, I'm one of Regine's American fans. What an amazing singer she is ! Such power and control - wow. Regarding her change of vocal ability and 'new' sound, having her son changed her body and with the added damage caused by the acid reflux (Which I too have - it's AWFUL and goes down your windpipe right to the vocal folds...) her vocal cords have changed and she herself said that what was once very easy for her is now more difficult. She is a professional though so as I understand it, she is having top notch vocal coaching to help her regain her vocal agility. From hearing her sing Araw Gabi live on the Wish bus recently, she is in fine form and will be singing for years to come. You Filipinos have some real talent and now that we have the internet - I get to enjoy it too !!!

It will take another lifetime to have another Regine. She really set the bar so high in philippine music industry. So many singers follow her footsteps or even copy her singing style and try to surpass every rendition she made but one thing is certain Regine has a way of changing it endlessly. So many singers can definitely hit the notes with what she did on her prime the only thing they cant do is the emotion she put into it. Nobody can copy on how she give emotion to every song from her facial expression to her actions. Im so lucky to witness so many concerts in her prime and that experience will treasure for a lifetime.
Kulang ang 30 teh. Ang daming hindi napasama sa listahan, to think na SOP Performances pa lang ni Regine ang pinag-uusapan dito. I think there's at least around 75 greatest performances of Regine on SOP.
Yung #17 where she sang "Still", I remember may sakit siya nyan pero nagperform pa din siya, napakaprofessional, you can see on her facial expression na masakit throat nya, wala siyang speaking voice that time but she still nailed it. A true diva, indeed.
