Damiano has a natural raspy voice, and the whole sound of maneskin is based on his unique voice. You should check the unplugged version of torna a casa, la paura del buio or for your love from 1live. He is a truly gifted singer.
If you want to get a really good feel for his vocals, you should check out the below acoustic version of their Italian song "Torna a Casa" (come back home). You can find lyrics translations and even lyrics videos with English/Spanish/etc subtitles for this on UA-cam. A whole ton of non Italians love this song even though it's not in English! ua-cam.com/video/y3T56egqXLw/v-deo.html
Interesting that you seem to complain about the rasp in Damiano's voice, when quite honestly, it's a big part of what makes him stand out. Now admittedly he's gotten better since those early x-factor days. (there's a new live performance of Beggin that he did yesterday in France. ua-cam.com/video/AucP3ESI0fI/v-deo.html which should give you the difference between this early x-factor performance when he was only 17, and for the most part untrained. or how he's now when he's had a few years with a professional vocal coach. Or you could react to this: ua-cam.com/video/xgMftdjnKpo/v-deo.html Their original song Coraline
Well.. Tiktok still isn't available in my country, but I am happy to hear they are getting the recognision they deserve, I thought their new popularity is because of Eurovision
I think Eurovision was the introduction. Many artists won Eurovision but they haven't become nor famous either popular. The reason they have become popular in because they are amazing, unique, talented Damiano's special voice , emotional lyrics and because off the positive messages they're sending about acceptance, equality, freedom of expression.....and many many more reasons!
That,s his natural voice, that,s why most people love him so much. It’s there in hi speaking voice. Don’t forget he,s not singing in his native language.
His rasp is genetic. He described that there is a genetic fault in his vocal cords, a hole which doesn’t quite close. In fact he has to concentrate of singing clean in ballads.
Can you react to Macedonian singer Tose proeski, he was very popular but passed away in a car crash in 2007. Check the video "tose proeski amazing vocal performances" part 1,he also sang in the video con te partiro
It’s actually the distortion that I like. It seems to be the hard part to mimic. The others seem easier to hit, but if I try to hit the distorted parts like Maneskin it comes out sounding like Louis Armstrong. Doesn’t sound bad, but probably stressing my vocal chords a bit.
Ok, just to correct you, this song is originally from 1967, released by the Four Seasons and was covered by Madcon in 2007 - just wanted to make sure the proper credit is given, thanks!
Huh? Why was this reaction has been created? Måneskin has a lot of beautiful songs CREATED BY THEM . Do you know any of THEIR songs? Are you familliar with their discography? At your first listening you have chosen their 4 year old performance at Xfactor, and that was their 1st stage after playing on the streets of Rome. This reaction is low.
@@pawa303 So, what is a purpose of this "reaction?" Critisizing Måneskin, comparing them with tiktok talents or searching for a new, better talents? For me it's just dull and uninformative. Neither entertaining.
@@kristinab9103 He didn't even criticize them. He was analyzing how their singer, along with other tiktok singers, sing the song. That's the whole point of his channel.

But Måneskin got famous not for TikTok... But because they won Eurovision
and to add to that, this song came out in 1967.
Vocal coaches must do their research
they got famous before eurovision though
His first language is also Italian. So I am sure that also plays a part in how he pronounces English lyrics. I love it.
Idk why people want singers to have perfect clear voices . The distortion is what makes his voice so good.

Love this video! 🔥
Love it. Thank you...😊
It’s his rasp which makes him unique and instantly recognisable. Singing clean for pop music and the use of autotune has ruined music.
You should react to Måneskins own songs and recent performances they are so good and his voice is much better now.

Ah, no word on the fact that this is song from the late 1960s and has been covered quite often?
Please react maneshin ..

Because this is a reaction to their version of a song, not them themself. Did you not read the title?

Not sure about this choice. I guess the real intention is to react to tiktokers not to Maneskin.
React to James Graham
