Faouzia nailed this one ! Her strong Moroccan influences are so evident in her vocal delivery and are so unique and wonderful to listen to ! Great vibe to the song and her lyric writing are so relatable and off the charts ! Saw her live last year in Toronto and she blew the audience away ! She sounds even better live ! A dynamic emotionally charged singer who can sing seamlessly throughout her vocal registers ! Beaut, brains and talent are three truths we know as FAOUZIA!!! Thanks for posting this gem ! Much love from Canada ! 👍🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️

Yeah, I totally get the idea of - I don't need your drama, I'm just gonna 'buy' my happiness. Don't Call Me is based on a personal experience for her, so, the lyrics are more personal. But I think they both kinda go together. And I think for me Faouzia's songs are all great, it's just a matter of personal choice as to which is better than the other. So, this one is still good for you, just not as high on the list as say Tears of Gold or Minefields... I enjoyed your reaction, even if your opinion was a 'meh' rating. It was still a good reaction, an honest one ☺

I like this one better than "Don't Call Me" - but I think I like the NEWEST one the most: Now or Never.

This particular piece is far more reflective of the LA studio culture she's working in, rather than the Moroccan or Canadian culture within which she was raised.

It's the part at the end with her hitting all those notes that gets me stuck on this song...you can just put her teaser/short of that part on replay: ua-cam.com/users/shorts1lzUg4vTcCE

Pop is not her genre as it doesn't show her true singing power but as it is a short version it is OK for dance music she should stick to ballads and Arabic style singing!

pop is her genre. she's been only doing pop, covered and explored other genres but most of the time it's always pop. ballads and arabic style singing can be pop too.

@@SaluteTheHarajuku yeah I get it but to maintain those piano style or French and Arabic singing qualities the biggies in the U.S. music industry want more style based on body showing or gimmicks Faouzia is way too classy for that Yes a bit of start up with these poppy songs hopefully will bring her the notice to a degree in the uS market but will not garner thr recognition that she deserves instead of ajj these other mediocre singers get!
