  • Job Interview Simulation and Training - Mock Interview. This interview training a step by step job interview simulation and interview exercises, a mock up interview which will serve you as your training to prepare for your ACTUAL job interview. Practice for your video interviews, Skype interview, Zoom or Facetime video call. To make the MOST out this job interview training and interview tips:
    1. Prepare exactly the same way as if you were going to an interview, including your notes and even dressing up for it.
    2. There is a part with Competency Based Behavioral Questions, for which you will have to state a concrete example from your past.
    3. Pause and rewatch the questions to improve your interview answers.
    This mock interview is a shorter version of a real job interview, since your typical interview lasts at least for about 45 minutes or 1 hour.
    We start with tell me about yourself question. Who are you? What have you studied and what has been your experience so far? Why did you choose to study that particular major and at that particular school?
    During your preparation for this interview I guess you thought about what you do the best, what are your biggest strength and how do you think our company would benefit from them?
    What about your development areas, your greatest weaknesses? What do you have identified as your greatest improvement areas and what have you done to improve them?
    Why did you leave your previous position?
    Why are you interviewing with me today? Why do you want to work here? What made you apply for this role?
    Do a little checklist for each question. How did you think you performed? How fluent and natural was your answer?

    u know what this video is a GEM , I put on my suit and even my watch and my shoes and sat in front of the screen as if it was a real interview, and I didn't even watch the video or know what the questions were.
    Surprisingly, I panicked a little and hesitated to speak. Some of the questions were surprising, and I could not think of a clear answer to the question, which caused me some disappointment.
    From my first attempt in the video, I feel that I failed, and I think it is a good thing until I know my capabilities in these situations, and my personal assessment of the interview, I give myself three out of ten
    It seems that I need to develop myself and watch some videos that can help me
    Thanks to the owner of this wonderful and useful video

    Ugh why are interviews so hard, even when you have all the qualifications for the job? 😱

    • @myemmotion
      @myemmotion  3 роки тому +3

      Because there is a huge psychological factor of how well you navigate the nerves and the stress. If you have everything it takes for the job, do everything in your power to SHOW that to the interviewer!
      When is your interview? Hope it goes well :)

    @MrsDude-qz5qg Рік тому +19

    Thank you so much, this was so helpful with knocking out my nerves for my interview tomorrow! I’ll update telling y’all how it goes!
    Update: I got the job! It was as a sales associate for Old Navy and it went amazingly well! They had me join a zoom call from home and I don’t have a computer so I bought one of those bendy tripods for my phone it it worked perfectly. Probably better that way too because it didn’t take up as much space so I could take notes.
    They didn’t ask about a time I’ve shown initiative or a challenge I’ve faced, they didn’t even ask about my strengths and weaknesses which I was sure they would since that’s pretty stereotypical, but I’m glad they didn’t.
    I also prepared for a couple other questions that were not featured in this video and I’m glad I did because they asked.
    Two things I was not prepared for were “how often do you think calling out is appropriate”, which I’m still really confused on but I said 5-7 days so I hope that’s ok lol.
    The other question was “what does customer service mean to you” and I just said said putting the customer before about any other task you may be completing at the time.
    At the end I had three questions prepared; “what does a typical work week look like”, “what are some challenges I may face in this position”, and “based on what we’ve discussed today, is there anything you’d like me to expand on?”. I’m REALLY glad I asked that last one because it kinda let me plead my case against any reasons they had for not hiring me.
    For example, when I shared my answer to the “tell me about yourself” question I had mentioned that I’ve taken part in my schools theater program. They were concerned that this would keep me away from work too often but I got the chance to say that I was planning on quitting this coming school year and share the most likely times I wouldn’t be available if there was any reason I wouldn’t be able to quit.
    They also wanted to hear more about a position I was in in the past and why I enjoyed it, I said it was because “I enjoy the satisfaction of seeing everything put together and looking nice in its place” and they loved that because they felt the same way.
    But I don’t think I would have felt nearly as comfortable in this interview without this video! Sure, I was still absolutely nervous. I had a dream the night before that I slept in until 5:00 pm and missed the interview, had sweat pooling in my sleeves the whole time, and it didn’t help that the elastic to part of my dress snapped right before I got on the call, but having the answers to the questions in this video down did wonders!
    Thank you so much for putting this out, I’m praying more people find it so they can have the confidence they need for their own interview.

I've been looking for something that would put me in the mindset of actually being at an interview and and responding to what someone might ask me. Being forced to think critically under pressure makes it easier to remember how to create an answer that leaves a good impression on whoever is interviewing you.
