- In August 2022, we hopped on a flight to Marrakech for 4 days (yes it's taken us 2 months to get this vlog live & yes, we know we're crazy going there at the hottest time of the year, eeeek!)
We stayed in two different hotels, one of which is the #1 hotel in the world and nothing could've prepared us for that level of service & luxury! Of course, it wouldn't be an Emz & Nick trip without filling our bellies with the best food the city had to offer (our mouths are watering thinking about it now)...
Absorbing everything the beautiful Marrakech had to offer, needless to say it was a little bit of a culture shock for us Londoners - we had a few little mishaps but they all formed the experience! We talk you through our top tips on what to do/not do when you visit!

Marhaba, we just scrolled to your channel and wow this was in 2022 ? Any way we are very happy when tourists come to our country and enjoy our delicious food cultural traditions.
We just want to mention that no matter what lifestyle your accustomed you've chosen our beautiful country Morroco and in reality besides a few pick pockets we were a bit stunned at your snobbish remark about the safety in the central square market where millions of foreigners have experienced more good than bad in Marakesh.
We went to your country, and we were warned about possible thefts and racial slurs, but we paid no mind and had nothing but good to say alhumdulillah, meaning thanks to God.
Well, we are pleased you stayed at one of our many typical Morrocan Riyat plazas with all your possible needs 🤩 thank you so much for sharing your adventurous trip with us.
May Allah continue to bless you on your travels and the many people who come to our Islamic country to enjoy our rich in historical ethnicity 🥰

Thank you for your words and so sorry if we caused any offence, that was certainly not our intention. We can only speak honestly of our experience. Nick was mugged whilst in the Central square when visiting in 2015 so this made us extra cautious. We loved our time in Morocco and hope to visit again in the future. So happy you loved the UK 🇬🇧

As someone who wants to visit Morocco one day, and learn as much as I can about this country, I have to say this video was kind of disappointing. Why go to a place like Marrakesh, whose literal marketplace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, when all you plan on doing is sitting by the pool all day and eating western cuisine? I feel like calling this video a “travel guide” is misleading.
Sorry to disappoint! We all have different desires and when we went for such a short period of time in the scorching heat, this is what we fancied doing ☺️
