The knuckles show isnt a lore show, its just a goofy comedy. The show probably has issues but im not expecting a knuckles lore drop
i feel like keeping expectations for the show being serious and having potential lore is the reason why many sonic fans hate the show. it is absolutely a comedy and its target audience are literally kids. so good show from that perspective

I want more knuckles in my knuckles tv show. Someone did the math (and correct me with a source if I’m wrong) but knuckles is only present for about 33 or so percent of the show

@@sussybaka3648 as a sonic fan, i too did not like the show at all because of the lack of screentime for knuckles (with the exception for when Knuckles and the GUN agents were on screen). However, i did notice that its target audience are kids, and even though most of the jokes are below par, kids would probably laugh at them. For sonic fans the show was disappointing but for kids it wouldn't matter much whether knuckles was there or not.
Even if you're not looking at it like that they're was a problem with how knuckles screentime was handled@@obsxssed

Wade Whipple was the light i needed to see at the end of the dark tunnel i have been travelling through my whole life. Without his blessing i would be a very different and very sad man.
Wade whipple is why i keep pushing, why i keep fighting, why i keep living. This man is an inspiration beyond any other that i know.

The only reason people are mad about wade being the main focus is because he’s that really small comic relief character. The only episode that really was good with no knuckles was episode 4

Even if not on screen the show is still about Knuckles, He turned the small town deputy into a warrior, which was all that he set out to do, albeit it didn’t go the way he expected.
Edit: realized we also learned more things about him through the dead chief and the weird musical

The knuckles show is about knuckles training his apprentice to become the perfect warrior even tho it's just about bowling, yes of course there are still flaws and i haven't seen the full show yet but it's told to us in episode one of the knuckles show
He literally never trains Wade though. Wade trains on his own while DREAMING while Knuckles is NOT present

Finally not everything has to involve sonic characters
Sonic the Hedgehog has long had a tradition of featuring interesting human characters along side the anthro ones. It goes back to Sonic X, and the Sonic Adventure games before that. It allows them to tell interesting stories with characters that don’t involve the main cast. Sega ALWAYS likes trying something new, now matter how loudly rabid sycophants scream at them until they’re as blue as Sonic in the face that they’re idiots for trying to expose them to anything even remotely different than what they already know. Did these same people scream when Sonic X came out, “Enough of Sonic being nice to the girl in the wheelchair, we need more Sonic!”, because God forbid we have any OTHER characters in the show? And are these same people going to be so STUPID as to say, when the third Sonic movie comes out, “Gee, I sure wish Shadow would stop spending time growing closer to his friend Maria, because we really need to have more Shadow in this story. Hopefully she will die soon so we can get on to that,”? It’s completely absurd, these people need to chill the fuck out. Stuff like this makes me embarrassed to be a Sonic fan, honestly. 🙁

I like the show but I do agree with some of the flaws people stated I feel knuckles has the worst luck when it comes to spin offs starring him (knuckles chaotix and Archie)
He wasn't treated like a joke in Archie.
@@E-102GammaMKII knuckles wasn't really treated like a joke in the show either but his spin off comics were still trash due to him being greatly overshadowed by all of his relatives and all the side characters with those said characters not really being good characters until better writers got a hold of them

I personally really enjoyed the Knuckles show, it felt kinda like a Saturday morning cartoon and I dont think thats a bad thing. Sure, the show is probably objectively bad, but I still had a really good time with it, and the flames of disaster is honestly pretty catchy and that episode was way too goofy for me not too laugh

This comment makes no sense. It’s a KNUCKLES show, not a WADE show. When the main character (aka knuckles) has less screen time than WADE, something went wrong.

It was stupid fun and altough the budget probably wasn’t spread out evenly it still was pretty funny. Wade isn’t even in the name of his & Knuckles show. I’m not even complaining because that finale was so cool. The flames of disaster episode is perfect. I care about Wade bowling against his daddy.

i think its just the budget that held it back. Knuckles and Sonic 3 were being shot back to back, and its clear that they wanna save for the big movie. If they had enough budget for CGI to make this truly a Knuckles-focused show then they would've
I honestly was a little disappointed when they made Wade more of the MC than Knuckles did (especially since it is literally titled Knuckles) but I overall liked it bc it was pretty hilarious and the whole thearatic rock musical thing they did for Knuckles' backstory was hilarious and ridiculous to watch. I can’t imagine that Idris Elba is a very affordable option for a TV show, so I could imagine that budget went up pretty quick.

I think the show would have been better if it was a prequel to the first 2 movies it can focus on knuckles exploring galaxies and show how he became a worrier
The show wasn’t about lore it’s just something for us to watch and enjoy I don’t know why people thought it would be lore based. The intro and that one episode where Wade lives through Knuckles’s past is a perfect way to put in lore. The show didn’t need anymore than that. Plus the show isn’t about Knuckles it’s and Knuckles training Wade to be a warrior.
