I'm tired of hearing this story mainly because of Donnell Porter part. And especially on Azie lying about it. Rich Porter let his little brother bleed out a whole month including Christmas and New year's day. Alpo was a beast in these streets but Alpo was out of town during the kidnapping. Azie glorying Rich because Rich was his brother-in-law. Saddest part is the same people Rich Porter used to kill his best friend (Shawn Moe) little brother who was 14........ are the same people who killed his little brother Donnell Porter who was 12. Like he said look at what happen to them It’s demonic Po killing rich and a 100 more people for no reason at all. And Darnell getting kidnapped and then murdered as a child for no reason. I wouldn’t want to relive that either. When I was living in that era I couldn’t stand it, I use to walk past all the drug dealers and I couldn’t smile. I couldn’t believe this was our life so I knew I had to do something Soon as I could work I did and then I decide to move in with my grand mother and I went to a different high school. I thought I was getting away from that life but it wasn’t that different it just wasn’t in your face like it was where my mom lived at. But it was still a better life change I see some of those dudes when I’m out and about and they look terrible or some still in prison or dead. This was an excellent interview and very intriguing. Paid in full is one of my all time favorite movies. Azie survived a whole lot. He's blessed to be alive.

I know a lady named Ms. Delois who grew up on the Hill. She told me abt working at a bar in that area. She told me that Bumpy Johnson used to give her 100 dollar tips and was really nice to her. She said she knew Puffys dad and alot of crazy stories. She passed March 2021. She was a good woman. I miss her lots..
Azie story telling and memory is amazing. I appreciate listening to a well spoken brother that’s really from that era. Definitely deserve your roses my g
This is better than the movie and documentaries! This is like a play by play real life depiction of what happened in Az's life. You could tell the sadness and pain in Azie's eyes as he tells the story. I was moved by this. Big salute to AZ.
I’ve always said the real stories is wayyy more entertaining than the movie. Just this interview alone was better. But getting into the stories of Alpo being in DC and the people he ran into there like Earsdachrist and listening to his stories. It’s just super deep when you really do a deep dive into all of this. I got a whole playlist on here of all the stories/interviews just to show people how deep it gets that didn’t know all of this stuff from Paid in Full was real.

Im all the way in the UK, watched and listened to his last interview, what a life this guy has had! And what a turnaround he has done. At the very end of his first vlad interview, being somewhat from the streets and having th mindset myself somewhat, I'm so glad and touched the words he used to end that interview....... ...and hats off to Azie, he's ended this interview as a real stand up man. I wish Azie all of the peace in the world and I truly hope he never has to tell that horrible story about the death of his friends and family ever again.
I grew up on the Eastside of Milwaukee and I feel where AZ coming from. I hustled fo' a minute until it got hot and jumped out da game. I had homies that kept it pumpin even after houses got raided. It's like a addiction you can't stop after a while until somebody stop it for you. Long story short I'm 44 years old now our clique was 4 deep. One died in prison in St. Louis, one crippled wit one leg, one did 17 years (remained silent though) got out in 2017 and died of a heart attack in 2020. I'm the last one left. IT AINT WORTH IT.
I knew one dude that won in the game! We came out the sandbox together. Hung until we were about 16. He started in the game. Small time. Nickel and dime bag weed. We didn’t hang a lot after that, but of course, was always cool. Mo went off to college, and homeboy graduated in up to everything else. Making dookie dollars. However, he stacked and stacked. During the day time, he took up trade school. Got certified as an electrician. Got a god job, got out the game, and used the drug money for a beautiful house, motorcycle, and clothes. I’m my area, he is the ONLY one I knew that did it for the reason it’s supposed to be done; which is get money mom the low, and get the hell out to the plan you originally have! He never got hemmed up! Avoided beef. Never did a hand to hand exchange. Got our clean on all fronts
I'm a grown ass 43 year old man. I'm from Harlem and have even seen many of the people named in this story. I know all about it and this interview still made me tear up. This story is so deep.
New York was Siick Back Then I remember My Neighbor Downstairs Her Husband Dumped her Body in a Laundry Bagg and threw the Body in the Hudson They Later Found her Body Floating By Jersey All that Happened While the Son was Sleeping God saved that Son that day💯

Now I know why Azie made it out alive....he's intelligent!!! Extremely smart man with common sense. And what an interview! Whew! Way better than the movie.
Lots of luck along the way too. He could have died when he was shot 9 times, Alpo may have come for him after killing Rich, Jesus squashed a hit on him and Bishop Bulwinkle almost got him. Maaan I can listen to his story for days on end.
he also made it out because he had a good heart. He was not a cold hearted killer, just a product of his environment. If you listen, he really was just getting money and putting others on to get some money. That’s why he made it out fr

It might be my love for Paid in Full but this has to be my favorite interview. The way Azie goes into such detail about the events of his life and the fact Vlad is actually letting him talk
He wasn't about that life saved him. He was a hustler. That's it. He wasn't a gangster at all. You have to be a real gangster to be a plug. You have to be able to put in work when tried. He didn't have it in him.

Vlad is so immature and lacks empathy. He hears all the gruesome details about how the man and his family and friends were butchered and Vlad giggles when discussing the scene about it from a fictionalized movie. Sick stuff...

This was an excellent interview and very intriguing. Paid in full is one of my all time favorite movies. Azie survived a whole lot. He's blessed to be alive.
It's 1:03am... I'm at work with an earbud in and I swear it feels like I'm listening to Paid in Full 2.0 on audiobook. I can listen to this story and all the different variations of it a million times and it'll never get old.
I listen to it every day at work😂
@vazquezlong100 Good story and it helps the time go by faster 😂
I know a lady named Ms. Delois who grew up on the Hill. She told me abt working at a bar in that area. She told me that Bumpy Johnson used to give her 100 dollar tips and was really nice to her. She said she knew Puffys dad and alot of crazy stories. She passed March 2021. She was a good woman. I miss her lots..
Those folks were the real history books. R.i.p ma'am

Honestly, I never get tired of these types of stories. This is an American classic.

At the very end of his first vlad interview, being somewhat from the streets and having th mindset myself somewhat, I'm so glad and touched the words he used to end that interview.......
...and hats off to Azie, he's ended this interview as a real stand up man. After all he's witnessed with Alpo, only a real, reformed man would end with those words.

However, Vlad, your comments about his mom were just ignorant.
