Our Third hero of this series is Sabyasachi Mukherjee
Sabyasachi Mukherjee is an Indian fashion designer, jewellery designer, retailer and couturier from Kolkata, India. Since 1999, he has sold designer merchandise using the label Sabyasachi. He is one of the Associate Designer Members of the Fashion Design Council of India and the youngest board member of the National Museum of Indian Cinema.
He pioneered the use of high-end luxury Indian textiles in a modern context. His unique contribution was the use of classical methods like bandhani, gota work, block printing, hand dyeing, etc., in constructing modern silhouettes. Sabyasachi is especially famous for Indian Bridal Wear.
While Sabyasachi's designs are all connected to Indian roots, his designs also mirror the Indian handloom and culture. Sabyasachi's attraction towards Indian handloom made him a pioneer in bringing the best of Indian thread craft and designs.

India is not just the largest democracy in the world but also one of the most inspiring countries today. Many of our brothers and sisters have risen like the Phoenix from ashes and dust, and this season is dedicated to 10 such heroes. My choice was based on people I had met or admired in my life; each story had a human value and lesson for Meenamma.
The words zero and hero sound so similar. But it presents a world of transformation and a spectacular journey to transcend and travel this connection. Some protagonists had nothing to start with but hold a crown on their heads today, which they humbly accept as a halo of experience. Such is the story of mankind, and a proud Indian today presents the best of her best inspirations here.
