This beautiful Scottish air was written by Tom Anderson in 1969 and captures his sadness at seeing the lights slowly diminish in his hometown, Eshaness Scotland. If you play in Scottish jam circles, this is a great tune to know.
The full lesson includes sheet music, guitar backup tracks, multiple instructional videos, A/B video looping, video speed controls, and MP3 audio downloads.

da slockit lights were houses that were uninhabited , so no lights on sad!, as the people who had lived in them had all left to go to Lerwick to work in the north sea oil industry , shetland has a very strong tradition of fiddling seperate from Scotland but will play any tune they like
