People say Katherine Heigl was difficult to work with, but nobody can deny she played Izzy Stevens perfectly. One of the best played characters of any TV show.
it still crisps my nuggets that she is the only regular Grey's cast member to win an Emmy...other guest stars have won but she is the only main cast to hold that honour...she won for the episode in s3 when Izzie's daughter whom she gave up as a teen-mom is in the hospital for leukaemia treatment and she agrees to the adoptive parents' request to donate bone marrow to her..was this worthy of an Emmy nomination? Absolutely...but when you stack it up against Heigl's co-stars nominated work (Chandra Wilson for the episode when Bailey is at the M&M conference and under fire from other doctors in the hospital for the events surrounding Denny's death, and Sandra Oh for the episode when Burke's secret about his hand tremor is exposed during a mass trauma influx to the hospital) it feels like a weak/safe choice

I never though mer and Derek would end up together considering all of the mishaps but I never liked Owen and Cristina bc I loved Cristina and still hate Owen🤣😂😂hes a great actor though🤞
As much as I loved Christina and Owen together I knew they weren't gonna last. Christina was about her career 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just like it didn't work with Burke, it wasn't gonna work with Owen. That relationship stood out because it showed that love wasn't enough to last or get through their problems. Usually as a woman we automatically assume that all women want to be wives and mothers but with Christina she did marry Owen but she wasn't gonna ever have his babies and she expected him to be ok with that. Also, she was willing to just let Teddy have him in exchange for her to be her mentor so that shows just how much Owen meant to her. She chose her career over a man even with Burke. The problem with both relationships is that there was no communication outside of work. Sex yes passion yes but to have a conversation about the future no and that was the problem. Now Meredith and Derek wasn't forever but because he died it was for the rest of his life they were together.
Ben Long oops lol I don't know Ben. I just don't get that same suspenseful feeling I had with the old seasons. There wasn't anything too dramatic I guess. The only things that really stuck out this season were April almost dying and Jos husband finding her.

The writer made the fiance like some kind of tool man who was just there to present the idea that "you don't actaully marry the one who is like you , and who you thought you wanted to marry". but he was not a tool man, he was a lively character who deserved to be treated better, by April, jackson, and by the writers. That season started off by how april and jackson happily ran away from the wedding, and it was garbage. I was never so mad at a scene ever. Most couples, no matter how broken they were in the show, they are to an extend likable and redeemable, but these two...there are nothing redeemable about that plot, it was just drama for the sake of drama.

I’m always so proud of the promise between Jackson and mark because Jackson has stuck to it ever since. He called out to April. And when he fell for Maggie he did the same. He’s stayed true to this promise.
For number five, the only reason they wrote in Meredith donating her liver was because Ellen was pregnant at the time and they wanted to hide it by making her character bedridden for a few episodes.

Sara Ramirez is in a new show and has also cut off most of her hair. Not saying that would not let her comeback itself, but still. Cristina is a definite no. Sandra Oh has said that she would never return because that chapter of her life closed, and a new one opened in the form of ‘Killing Eve’. Arizona just left not that long ago. I don’t think she will return anytime soon.

Number 6 is actually so good, you know a heartbreaking moment like that is well acted when you actually feel uncomfortable watching it. Although number 10... I watched it the other day and Mark is now my favorite character, that speech hit me hard and the show was never the same without him.

What makes the scene between Izzy and Alex so powerful is it's 100% happened in real life at some stage between 2 people who love each other. And what hurts is you see it from both sides too. If it was me, I'd rather be left go, my partner would too as painful it would be to see it happen. It's incredible acting
Lexie telling Mark she loves him, telling Meredith she still loves her and she forgives her, Meredith speech to the interns about telling a patient’s family that their loved one died are some of the best too

"What about me" is still the most powerful one to me on the list, and that's saying a lot. There's something about it that just's so... I dunno... real? I used to rewatch this scene all the time when I first started watching Greys and just cry when Izzie started to cry too.

Callie I don’t think will come back. Sara Ramirez is in a new show and has also cut off most of her hair. Not saying that would not let her comeback itself, but still.
Cristina is a definite no. Sandra Oh has said that she would never return because that chapter of her life closed, and a new one opened in the form of ‘Killing Eve’.
Arizona just left not that long ago. I don’t think she will return anytime soon.

Number 6 is actually so good, you know a heartbreaking moment like that is well acted when you actually feel uncomfortable watching it. Although number 10... I watched it the other day and Mark is now my favorite character, that speech hit me hard and the show was never the same without him.

What makes the scene between Izzy and Alex so powerful is it's 100% happened in real life at some stage between 2 people who love each other. And what hurts is you see it from both sides too. If it was me, I'd rather be left go, my partner would too as painful it would be to see it happen. It's incredible acting
