Jumped into my car at 6 this morning and this was halfway through on the radio... so many mindblowing tics and much underpinning weirdness [unsettling bass line of the year] I decided there and then I had to check this out. Keep it up.
I adore this song, but one thing I can't quite work out is why there seem to be a couple of strange edits at around the 3:09 and 3:14 mark; they seem to momentarily throw out the rhythm off track. Anyone else hear this or have an explanation?
@@jeffreybotley-ball5185 hi, I listened to PC when I saw your comments. Its great to hear new things. I really cant compare the two, PC play the 70's, these children play the today so good.
An interesting juxtaposition of the old and new...impossible to suggest, however much you like the Orielles' music, that it tops or can match what those Northern Soul oldsters perfected their dance steps to. I mean, all they've got is the three of 'em, and they weren't raised in black gospel church singing traditions, R+B instrumental traditions, etc. Nor do they seem (yet?) a band one would seek out for dancing purposes. But nonetheless, their music is fresh, and with this video they go right into the "lair," as it were, of the older and superior, of the fading away, and with a generous, ready-to-learn-what-can-be, spirit. Now if I could just figure out what is in the blue suitcase...
My best mate is dancing on this video. She is horrified whenever I mention it.🤣🤣🤣
St Etienne meets the north , brilliant , love this tune .
nice song and an old Jaguar. can't ask for more.
You gotta love Henry's dancing at the end!
the dancefloor scenes are just so damn cool
This track reminds me of one of those groups I listened to as a teen at the start of the 80s - maybe Orange Juice.
ducking love everything about this
ずっと聞いてます!大好きな曲❤🎉
Great Song!! Excelent album! So young they are, and such a mature attitude towards music.
Stereolab meets Lush meets The Go Team. Very musically creative band.. Just what the Doctor ordered. :-)
Oh! Deep joy....For all who have danced joyfully (if inappropriately) with maracas in the middle of nowhere ....wait for the end now
The Orielles are so amazing! Definitely the most refreshing thing I've heard in many years. This vid is hilarious as well.
try listening to gus dapperton, similar indie vibe
what an amazing tune
