This is the most beautiful thing i've ever heard. I can't listen to it without crying... it's just so beautiful with their blend and emotion coming right out of their bell. no words are needed for them tell exactly what happened and why this piece was written. Absolutely amazing.
I played this with my senior friends in high school as our last moment together. It was literally our song for the entire year. We worked and worked and worked. I wish we had it recorded but we didn't but I will surely remember how it sounded. I also thought the best part about our version of this arrangement was, we played this exact arrangement with a slower tempo and repeated a couple sections. Our overall run time was 13:00! It was absolutely breathtaking, I will never forget. Just wish I had those days back. We all graduated this last May (2017) and I've only seen our bass trombone and second trombone after hence. Just where is my third trombone, so we can reunite this amazing piece and finally record it! Wish you luck to all you young players, we were all 17-18 years old, and even to our eldest players. Everything is possible with the right amount of intention and desire. So please, like and share your stories, every song has it's own story for everyone else.
that was so beautiful. it made me feel as if I was in japan as it happened. such great players as well shout out to the 3 tenors and 1 bass trombone. You played with such conviction and emotion it was amazing. Nicely done, nicely done.
I see 2 dislikes How can anybody dislike the beauty of this I came close to tears in some places. I suppose there are some people who are emotionless. I'm glad I am not acquainted with them
Wonderful Playing! Great group! Masakatsu, I have been playing with you in 1977 with the World Orchestra (in Korea & Japan). I am the tuba player Alain Cazes. You made me eat sushi for the 1st time in my life. I have fantastic memories of your playing and friendship.
I hear this song time after time and again, love as much as when I first heard it, I'm also a lover of 日本(Japan) and it's culture. So awe inspired, I'll try and get my bass(upright) choir to play this hmmm.......till next time 後で あなた おキャッチ
In my opinion this is one of the very best interpretations of many you can find on youtube. Awesome in it's simplicity (there are much more blown up versions), the harmonics fit perfectly the emotions associated with this beautiful song.
We play this with our family we have one tuba one bass trombone and two tenor trombones. The problem is that I have to play the highest part because no one else could play it but I've never played die highest note, so I first have to learn how to play that high...
For alto sax it would be much easier than trombone part. Most trombone players won't be able to hit that high B flat, much less the high D. Then again, if you practice enough, you can hit it, just like those guys on the video.
It doesn't really take long to build up range. Whatever you're trying to hit, like D for example, learn the note above it first (E). Learn to articulate that E and play it in context. If you can do that, then hitting that D should be a cakewalk.

As a trombone player myself, I found this song extremely pleasuring. It it very well-performed and I really love the arrangement.
Even the harmony was so well blended :O
I practiced it on my free time and it’s best song to play

I love how the shortest guy is the bass trombone player. XD
Yeah jajajaja the trombone is actually larger than him. He must have some powerful lungs!
That's usually how it goes for some reason XD
It's the best right?
I'm 5'5 in my band and I'm bass trombone
He can play lower.

Beautiful! Sweet, but a little sad. Why does this music bring a tear to my eyes? The four play as one heart. Bravo!
bubba_pdx well it was written for the tsunami in 2011 so it is meant to be a bit sad

Made me cry , i don't know why
I played it with 5 trombones in a church by the time of Sunset. Imagine how I was feeling ☺️
Imagine playing this at a funeral. I'll cry my eyes out ahahahahha
I'm not religious but that sounds like the most beautiful thing in the world I would cry my eyes out
wtf are you saying bitch
Jherman Morales He said "What most touching melody !! Very beautiful the trombones quartet, the sound is wonderful." Direct translation
This piece is a really good quarter piece for anyone wanting to play it
Music to soothe the soul.

Dit is bijzonder mooi! Een parel op het internet! En wij hebben die gevonden. Dank.

Amazing! Did anyone else notice the Jackson lean at 2:10?
Bravo!!!!!!! :)
im playing the duet version of this song and the high notes are super high but i'm getting to it
Damn, 7 years ago.Hello
Young Kei Nishikori playing with a bass trombone
woah. Dang. I'm doing this with my friends. We have a tuba and a Euphonium and I (trombone), but it doesn't sound nearly as good. owo
I performed the 3rd part... those triplets were harddd
i suffered the same thing fellow ryan
Amazing!!!!!
It's hard to find people who can play the trombone so goo as they can :o
They do not only play good, they play with sense :)
Daniel Neumann Not only sense but also emotion. Some people just play fast and think that’s enough.
A ninth grader and I have to play this song with seniors D: shit and I'm the tenor part
+flemaster12 2nd trombone part you mean?
lol me too im alto sax its a easy song tho
For alto sax it would be much easier than trombone part. Most trombone players won't be able to hit that high B flat, much less the high D. Then again, if you practice enough, you can hit it, just like those guys on the video.
enough means a lot for a high D ahah

Amazing! It´s funny, because the smallest trombonist have the bass trombone :P

Lindo de mais !!! me apaixonei a primeira vista. Parabens aos musicos.
The bass trombone player is the lower not only on range but in size too xD
Bastard 😂😂😂
Waaaaaayyyy better than the Sydney symphony! Better tone, and honestly, way more heart and emotion
the 1st trombone at around 4:09 omg!! He actually did an 8va on the high D and Eb there It isn't written that high in the score.
Would you please explain to a common listener what you mean? I really want to know.
11hoosier11 He basically was hitting high notes that are technically out of the range of an average trombone. Shows you how amazing these guys are
Nope just sn overtone he was playing that. I dont think so atleast
11hoosier11 trombones aren’t supposed to play that high. But he did it anyways.
those were in fact overtones, you hear him play it down the octave, but you do hear that 8va because theyre so well in tune
Dude, that bass trombone is almost bigger than that guy xD
It’s amazing, how can I take this score for quartet trombone?
You can download and copy it on Internet
For free
親子丼 ok thanks
I suggest you listen to the woodman quartet version
très beau quartet, des sons très homogènes.
