Nice result! I think it could run even faster, when you tune the hop out and when you have mirror flat water. 6S might really stress that geared outdrive though. Be careful to keep the gears healthy. 👍
Hi Sam is that the Mhz outboard if so can you do a review on it there is not much about them on UA-cam idid a short review of the tfl scale outboard on my channel. Great content thank you for making videos
Love that boat, it's my next kit I'm buying once my R4 is completed! Beautiful build & that was flying! More to come I'm sure - Hmmm, maybe 90mph!
Thank you!
That boat looks great. What prop are you using?
Sam, I like the TFL scale outboard as well… what do you think of the TFL that looks like a mercury
Great speed for an outboarder.👌👍 What motor do you use?
It's a Leopard 3660 2050kv
Highest MPH isn't everything, this boat looks so fun. I watched the complete build series & wow !
Thank you very much!

Lower end is holding up well. I broke it in running DT550, a synthetic additive, now running 80 weight gear lube.
@@chilly7261do you break it in with dt550 only or a ratio of oil to dt550? How long is your break in process?
@@richiecam5531 I did the first 4 or 5 runs with straight DT550. Drained it and am running straight 80 weight gear lube now. Been good so far...
Nice!
Thank you so much!

It's a Scale Seven with a scratch build balsa wood cowling I made...
Hi Sam. Very nice build. Is the scale seven the TFL brand? What size motor is it? Boat looks great!
do you have any issues with the gears in the lower?
It's been good so far
if you were to run heat laps up to a mile in distance would it hold up i wonder.
i was thinking on buying it and try racing with it.@@chilly7261
Non geared outboard probably quicker..55mph is fast enough!! good job! Boat looks awesome
Thank you! Not as good scale looks. That was important to me too...
U mean that little dinky motor can do that 👍
The little engine that could!
@@chilly7261 that it did. What was high speed before
@@darryldeel9098 Only like 42 mph maybe. I checked it in the Hot Pond last winter.
