is there a name for what they played before danza? im in love with it and would like to know where its from or if its something they made up. If anyone knows where sheet music is that would be great too :)
Zack I learned how to do it on my Bari and Alto, it's actually pretty easy, you put the mouth piece a little further back in your mouth and blow your air along the roof of your mouth and it makes a High pitched noise like his, he's learned to control it so it sounds good
BTag2000 Exactly how he said it. Man I wished I could’ve saw this earlier. I was literally digging through the internet just to find how to do this. I figured it out on my own.
Joe Chace It’d be better if you did it on a metal mouthpiece. But I was still able to do it on a hard rubber mouthpiece. And because Leo uses a cane reed, it’s probably better to use a cane reed though he uses a 3 1/2 Vandoren reed so it might be a little bit of a harder reed.
These dudes giving a concert show for free. Amazing talent!!!
I look up to Leo as a freshmen who just recently picked up the bari sax it’s amazing watching you guys!
Same but I have since 7th grade. Our bari player graduated and I immediately snatched it. Best decision ever!!!

Nico Ottobre that’s just something they made up, no sheet music for it. Just try and learn it by ear, shouldn’t be too hard

There’s a recording where it looks like a Jet Tone
MAS O QUE?
what was the song in the beginning (not Danza)
Beyond_Norm8008 008 I think it’s just them jamming/ improving
How does Leo do that at 0:40 ?

So is it altissimo?

Does it require a specific reed/mouthpiece?
Joe Chace It’d be better if you did it on a metal mouthpiece. But I was still able to do it on a hard rubber mouthpiece. And because Leo uses a cane reed, it’s probably better to use a cane reed though he uses a 3 1/2 Vandoren reed so it might be a little bit of a harder reed.
Who teach me what's the first music
The opening piece was improvised I think.
Marcus Intravaia it’s the piece that Leo plays at the beginning of every time they perform danza search up the other vids
