one thing i love abt everglow is that they’re never afraid to step out their comfort zone. this song doesn’t have a rap, isn’t anywhere close to noise music, nor contain any signature everglow elements. they will always push their limits and try something outside the box

the agency's fault honestly, they did so much shit with everglow it saddens me, they don't do enough comebacks, and they started the group with heavily buying the views so it gave everglow some kind of bad reputation, and here we are :(
They weren't so underrated. I their first years, until 2022 they were one of the most popular 4th gen Girl Groups, then their company just decided to not give them a comeback for almost 2 years and everything went downhilll.

i remember when i began really really getting into kpop years ago and they were everywhere. such a shame that their company failed to keep them as relevant as they used to be
And there you go. The girls proved once again that they have everything it takes to be on top. They know how to surprise their fans and leave them breathless with every comeback. Pulling off a zombie concept in the summer without a rap section, and having the rap line sound amazing singing is wild. Yuehua needs to let these girls have comebacks more often because their potential is insane!

@@hailieRobinson the main reason why they aren’t popular mainly in Korea is because their company is a Chinese entertainment company that branched out to Korea, because of this Koreans didn’t like everglow and barely posted articles about them and so on, but they did get more popular internationally. They also lost popularity because they usually take long breaks that are mostly a year long. One of the members Yiren took a break and went back to china to visit her family because she couldn’t see them due to the pandemic, and to also complete some of her academics. Which is one of the reasons for their hiatus. After their ‘Pirate’ release E:U decided to get plastic surgery on her face and usually a full healing process for that is about 1 to almost 2 years for the bloating and marks to fade away, and for the skin to fully heal. which is another reason why everglow had a long break. When you actually look into it they have long breaks because of personal reasons. But yes that’s why they aren’t that popular
@@hailieRobinson fellow youtubers explained it all, but I would add the sad Truth is they WERE very popular during their 3-4 first comebacks, and then they were mismanaged in a way that is still difficult to understand. Many groups were mismanaged, but Everglow might be the worst of them all. The fact that EU was brutally replaced as the leader without any explanation (something that usually never happens) and that she was obviously put on the side since (no rap, few lines, no dance breaks) tells you something didn't work backstage even then. My guess would be that EU acted as a true leader and complained too much about their treatment... And then, the group basically totally disappeared for 2 years (!) again without any official explanation. In the meantime, other groups emerged, like Le Sserafim or New Jeans, and Everglow obviously lost popularity, somehow they appear to be history now, some sort if a 3rd Gen group. This is an amazing waste. Honestly I was disappointed by Pirates and Slay, very generic comebacks, but Zombie slaps. It deserves a lot of success. Issue is, does quality really matters anymore? Status matters much more. In K-pop, if you're once seen as a nugu, it is very difficult to get out of it. And Everglow lost their status.

The darker concept but the softer vocals is such a enchanting combo! The music video is so cool as well, especially the phone call bit before the drop. This type of concept really fits Everglow!
ZOMBIE is absolutely haunting, addictive, and amazing! The combination of powerful vocals, mesmerizing choreography, and eerie visuals creates a captivating atmosphere, and the chorus is just too catchy! EVERGLOW FOREVER LET'S GO

To the people who are wondering why their views are so low - the MV got deleted after 1 hour and later reuploaded, so we lost the beginning hype. Also, this is the first time when MV came out on both EVERGLOW and Stone Music channels, so Forevers are a little confused which one they should focus on.
Thankfully, views started going a lot faster in the last couple of hours, so dont be discouraged Forevers - keep streaming and collecting votes!

Honestly, if everglow had more comebacks and advertized more they would fr get so mich recognition. They are so talented and have so much charisma when performing. I saw them at hallyupopfest in london with my sister and grandparents (who dont like girl groups) and even they were so impressed and mesmerized by everglow. They would make it so big.

The thing is that YueHua sucks at promoting... Everglow has excelent music from title-tracks to B-sides from debut until now, but they lack regular contact with fans: they only make youtube content when they are having a comeback.. as soon as the comeback season ends they desapear from youtube and you onle hear of them weeks after their new comeback... Everglow mostly focus on tours around the world... but in my opinion they should do more promoting in casual shows... Twice not only became famous cuz of their songs, they also did alot of casual content. And last thing is that Everglow hasn't made a full album since debut, and that sucks.... Sorry for my bad english.

BTS, ATEEZ and stray kids are massive because of their constant connection and content, it doesn't allow people to forget about them. I'm a big EVERGLOW fan but to be totally honest, I do forget about them until they have a comeback.

If anything I’m glad their company and themselves as a group have made it this far when so many others would have lost members and disbanded. So glad that these girls were given a chance to do what they enjoy passionately for so long. So glad that their music and MVs are always HQ. They have more music released than some senior kpop groups even. Everglow deserves so much better!!!!

everglow music is very promising, imagine the diversity of the music having a darker and strong title track while the b-sides serves different kind of flavors, but still everglow girlies manage to pull off every genre given to them, the versatility is insane. This comeback is huge 10/10, no kpop girl group from this era can pull off this kind of genre, it really suited everglow, no wonder why producers love to make music for them, because everglow’s skill and whole theme is so interesting.
