Heyyy lovelies, in this video I am creating the most beautiful Winter Wonderland Tree Decorations in my most favourite mould of 2021. These moulds are so chunky and detailed truly magical. I am using two different Resins to enable us to create this and de mould this all within 8 hours.

So pretty! The foil and glitter lent a festive, sparkletastic, midwinter, pastoral and Christmas-y feeling to it all. For even speedier demould you could perhaps brush on a bit of blue mica and use the black poly and get a sky-y effect as well?
You can color the PU resin! I just make sure I mix the color into part A and get it all combined BEFORE I add part B. Beautiful work as always, I LOVE the layered look!
Yes pigments and glitters should be added before stirring in part B. Especially when using fast cure.

@@RedRockingBird ahhh yes amazing I would totally recommend the one I have from Screwfix. It's the Elipse Half Mask. They have two .. mine is the more expensive one around £30. Also check with your Resin manufacturer... I spoke to about 10 major brands a couple years back and so many did not recommend Resin for children under 12 .. some under 15 and some under 18 .. so double check that also. Some put no age limitations at all x ❤️❤️

Yep…gorgeous…these moulds are everything damn wish I had these…UK has the best moulds I swear…if only I had a laser cutter I could make my own acrylic blanks to cast and make moulds and sell them here in Oz and make a bucket load lol….love it

These molds and the polyurethane resin is over the moon awesome…. I hope US can purchase… I’m checking links. I’ll be jumping up-n-down if I can find them
I do use polyurethane 2 minute resin to make my business cards and I have only tried to color the white with mica powder and it just comes out like a muted color of whatever you add. I do not have any pigment pastes. I usually only have mica and alcohol inks. Anyway, I added the powder before I added the part B so I had time to mix it in. It does work, kinda. Would be curious about paste. Just FYI. Those turned out super cool though. Love the idea.

blinking heck ! that resin is so fast ! 😵 I did get some polyurethane resin once and it stank the house out XD so never got it again !

Question for you or anyone else please :). I'm in Canada so you can imagine how cold it gets here so opening windows because of VOC is not really an option. I will wear a respirator but.... is the air exchanger in my apartment sufficient to recirculate the air for VOCs? And is it ok to have my cat in another room with the door closed? Or should I forget about the whole thing? lol

I bet you could add color if you add the color to part A or B before mixing!
If it is polyurethane resin, you usually can add color (dry color anyways). I add it to my part A and mix it, then mix part A and B so it doesn't cure up on me. If you use the white, whatever you add will be pastelly.
