I like cranberry muffin. At first I wasn’t sure because in my head I was expecting toffee and walnuts and I didn’t get that at all in cold or warm so I thought I didn’t like it. Once I got it out of my head about the toffee and walnuts and just smelt the bar I really like it…ended up in my club 😊. I will also warm that bar all year round which is nice. You never have too much vanilla! It’s one of my favourites, you can warm it all year and when I don’t know what to warm I am always in a mood for vanilla. I decided no more bricks. I use to always use my half offs on a brick and I realized every brick I get it’s not as strong as the bar so I have decided to use my half offs in my club on the fragrance flowers. I have enough wax to last me that I don’t need that extra wax in the brick.
Such a excellent point about the bricks Jessica! I agree - several of the bricks don’t do as well as the bars. I have a few that work well for me & there are a few that I mainly use for mixing but I need to be more particular. And YES to vanilla! I’m warming Cranberry Muffin today. It did well all day in two spots in my house. I get no toffee or walnuts either. Still deciding whether to keep it in my club or just stock up. 🤷♀️
Hi Linda! Thank you for sharing your club - this was lots of fun to listen to. You asked about our brick philosophy - I very seldom buy Bricks except the holiday ones, or special ones like the EAR-idescent, because they are just too massive and I don't go through them very quickly. That said, I still admire them for their sheer size, kind of like Everest. Thank you for sharing and take care friend! ❤️🤗
Thanks Amy❣️I think I’m heading down that brick road too 🙄 I do like to have the larger size in scents I use a lot but I have just been hauling everything available in bricks & then struggling to warm them all. I was curious how others felt about them. Have a good rest-of-your week/almost the weekend 🤗❤️ (Weekends don’t have quite the same punch when you’re retired - at least for me)
@@lindah_home_and_scents haha! Every day is Saturday now 🤣❤️🤗
I took out Crumb Top and kept Oats and Honey too! I wasn’t as impressed after several warms as I initially thought. Oats and Honey is perfect and always performs so well.
Thank you…I thought I was the only one. I’m keeping O &H too. I just tried Crumb Top again yesterday & it was ok but not that strong & definitely not as rich & delicious as Oats & Honey. Everyone is raving about Crumb Top & I thought my nose was missing something.
Love your approach to capping the bars in your club. It’s inspired me to do the same and really just keep what I love and use
Thanks Ann! It can be a challenging keeping it at a limit. There’s always something I want to club but you’re right it forces you to pick just what you absolutely love & will use.
I hate I didn’t put butter pecan in my club… if you like My Home and crimson berry Christmas try mixing spiced berry with welcome home it’s a very close dupe and performs for days
Oh thanks for the tip! I love Welcome Home & I’ve hauled a few Spiced Berries for next fall. I might grab some more to mix. I have My Home in my club but I use it up as fast as I get it. I’d love to have another option ❣️
Bricks stress me out. Lol! I have so many other scents that I need to warm through that to see a brick staring me in the face just makes me cringe. I always buy the brick bundles to sample and review for customers, but I'm always glad when I can use them up. The only exception is the Caramel Chestnut brick. I wish I had purchased another one of those. Cranberry Muffin is nice for me. Love it so much more when warming than I do on cold. I ordered extras and it's in my club (for now.)
Yes I can identify with brick stress 😳 I do ok with the ones I use a lot but when I get extras during special offerings or if I grab a random brick through club because “I don’t have that one maybe I should haul it because…” & they start to pile up it feels like ‘too much’. I loved Caramel Chestnut & I clubbed it. I might try something my friend Brandi suggested for those new spring bricks - she is going to do an ‘in-out’ club just to haul the bar size in those bricks to try them out before committing to a full size. It’ll depend on how Scentsy prices the early access bundle. If they’re are a bit of a deal I must just jump in.
@@lindah_home_and_scents That's a really good idea to club them first!
Huge lover of World Traveler in my home… We all love it… It’s my 14 year old son’s favorite scent. He said he gets great sleep when it’s warmed in his bedroom. 😂 Ahh Jammy Time, so good . Love it in the bar and in laundry. I’m on the fence with cranberry muffin, only warmed one bar.need to warm again and decide if I truly love it. I really enjoyed rum raisin cookie, again, only warmed one bar, but it did well. I stocked up on it….. thanks so much Linda for sharing ! I love hearing about what all my Scentsy friends are warming and loving.
Thanks Susan 🤗❤️ your son has great taste! As I mentioned I occasionally think about taking World Traveler out of my club but then…nope. I’m with you on Cranberry Muffin. I’ve warmed it a couple of times. It did well but once the buttery brown sugar batter warms away (for me at about 12 hours) I get a weird cranberry note. I might just haul a couple of bars & call it a day.
I love cranberry muffin. I get pure bakery muffin with a touch of cranberry. That one is in my club for a bit.
You have a great club Linda. I love seeing what you got.
Thanks Martha. Cranberry Muffin is definitely a decent performer. I have stocked up on bars. I’m not sure it’ll stay in my club though. I have a couple of F/W bakery (or what I consider bakery like Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl) that I want to park for safekeeping. I’m trying to stick to my club bar limit. What to do…🤷♀️
I am so happy that I finally caved and got a Sugar Cookie brick. I used to be to so stingy with that bar and now I can go ham with it and I add it to everything!
Yay Marina❣️Sugar Cookie in brick form is a ‘must-have’ for me! If I could only have one brick it would be that one.
I’m picky about bricks, but wish I had more options because I love them!
I’m about to receive my third Sugar Cookie brick, because I use that like….candy….or….cookies lol.
I was sticking to just Johnny bars for a long time but finally decided to get a brick over the fall…I haven’t touched it yet, so we will see how I do with that with spring when I crave it more.
Now that sea salt & avocado isn’t returning, I’ll grab a brick to make sure I have that to last me a while.
The only other club brick I have & want is Vanilla Bean Buttercream!
I love them too Sarah! Sugar Cookie, VB Buttercream & Welcome Home are my staples. I always have to have them on hand. lol I use them like candy & 🍪too. I do have a few summer favourites too. Since I’m so picky about S/S scents I tend to use a lot of bricks like Sunkissed Citrus & Skinny Dippin to fill the void.
I loved cranberry muffin!
Melted a couple cubes from that oil settled first bar they sent out.
Still haven’t warmed my new “clean” bar so we’ll see if I feel the same after.
It’s in my club for now. It’s a nostalgic scent to me tho since it dates back to my early scentsy days, so that might be why I like it.
I miss *My Home*
It is hard to explain
Like a spiced scent with light floral but it’s clean
Hi Heidi❣️I warmed a newer Cranberry Muffin bar yesterday. It did ok - I think it was a bit weaker but still performed well. I like the buttery batter bit & it was very present for most of the day. When it started to disappear I smelled more of that perfume-y cranberry others are describing. I’m trying to decide if I love it enough to keep it in my club. I might just stock up. My Home on the other hand definitely is staying!
Hi Linda! Great thumbnail pic for this video 👍🏻 I wasn’t a fan of cranberry muffin on cold. After warming I had to club it! STRONG & LONG LASTING! It’s a repurchase for me! - LOVE the raisin cookie. YUM!!!
Thank you Kristin❣️ I’m just warming Cranberry Muffin today. It is the end of the day & it is still scenting the room well. It’s in my club while I test it out to see if I want to keep it. I will definitely keep Rum Raisin Cookie in my club for a while.
I really liked the first Cranberry Muffin bar from our early access. When I got the 2nd bar after they fixed the quality issue it was different. They may just need to cure.
I agree Angie. I thought the original ‘flawed’ bar smelled richer. I’ve warmed another one. It still smells like buttery muffin but the cranberry note seems different. Still good though. I’ve got 5 bars now I’ll wait until fall to warm them I think.
Hands up here I removed apple butter frosting from club absolutely would have bet they were bringing back 😢 last time I will do that . Love your club Linda❤ thank you for sharing…
Thanks Natalie ❣️you weren’t the only one caught off guard with that one.
I had so many bars I wanted to save from the BBMB and the fall/winter catalog that I took out Carmel Vanilla Delight. I chose to keep Toffee Butter Crunch in the same club as my “Carmel” scent instead. ( and Carmel Chestnut) It was a hard decision though. World Traveler is staying for sure!
I know! I’m in the same boat. I have clubbed quite a few F/W scents in both clubs. I am 2 bars over my limit in both but they ship in March & then April so I hope to be able to take out at least one from each 😳 I have Carmel Chestnut clubbed but that one’s a keeper.
I love vanilla too but for some reason, I cannot smell Simply Vanilla or Vanilla Cream....so bummed. Thankfully I can smell Vanilla Waves and it is in my club! Bakery scents don't always do well for me but I think I want to try to try Rum Raisin Cookie.
You are not the only one Jill. Several people have told me they can’t smell Simply Vanilla & Vanilla Cream. I think the salty caramel note makes Vanilla Waves more fragrant for some noses. It’s a shame it didn’t come back. I was shocked - it was so popular. I’ve had a tough time with some bakery too especially in my kitchen. That’s why I treasure the ones that perform well. Rum Raisin Cookie did well but I’ve only warmed it twice. It’s a unique scent to I’ll club it for a while.
Great bars. I was one that loved cranberry muffin but I don’t like the new one. I a, not sure but it has an odd note to me that reminds me of something gone bad. I am not sure what it is. Same weird scent I get from some coconut bars that smell like rotten wax. I just cannot put my nose on it. Gimme candy needs to come out in a brick. So yummy. I agree with you about the Valentines.
Yum wouldn’t a brick in Gimme Candy be great! I’d buy it! I just warmed a newer bar of Cranberry Muffin yesterday. Right out of the gate it was fine - I enjoyed the butter muffin/cake batter that was predominate. By the end of the day that disappeared & it had the weird cranberry note that others have mentioned. There have been several people who’ve said the same thing as you “something funky smelling”. I am still trying to decide if it’s a keeper.
Awesome Club! I'm a Brick Hoarder...lol! I want them all!
Thanks Valerie❣️
I love Cranberry Muffin!
I like it too. I have 5 now but I’m not clubbing it. Hope I don’t regret it 😳
Hi Linda! So many great scents! Kakui and Coconut is gorgeous! It was in my club but I was able to take it out. I’m glad I have Atlantic Air in my club. I never warmed Cranberry Muffin. I didn’t get many of the BBMBs this round. I have Starburst Sky coming in my club that just processed. I hope I don’t get cigarettes🥺😳. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Leesa❣️I’m not convinced that the BBMBs especially the bakery are better than what I have already & there are some catalogue scents like Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl or Caramel Apple Craze that I’d rather club. I loved Starburst Sky on first sniffs but when I warmed it I got the faint cigarette note. Now…it might be a mental thing…once I heard someone else say it I smelled it 🤷♀️ I’ll be curious to hear what you think!
@@lindah_home_and_scents I was thinking the same lol…now that I have that in my head will I smell it??? 🤣🤣🤣
I totally agree Linda "one can never have too much vanilla." And for me, clove and cinnamon as well. I'm a vanilla, spice and campfire lover. I don't get many bricks anymore, they do not seem to work as well for me. But I do keep Caramel Chestnut, Sea Salt and Avocado and Vanilla Bean Buttercream. I have my own quarterly club and my husband Bruce also has a quarterly club. (he just rolled his eyes when I told him. 😏😂🤣). Love your thoughts on scents, but you are such an enabler!!! 😁❤
lol Karen - glad I can help 🤣 Someday he’ll pick up the parcel off the front porch & say “I think this is my club” trust me 🤣🤣🤣 I love spice & smoky too! I have a few favourite bricks - I just need to be more particular about what I haul I think. Have a good weekend my friend 🤗💛
I’m with you on bricks…. Club bricks… I won’t get Johnny again in brick. I thought I liked it but after trying to get through a brick of it…. I don’t so much. Same with blueberry cheesecake. I do go through a bunch of sugar cookie, clean breeze, jammy time, vanilla bean so those I want more bricks. I have sea salt and avocado I love and haven’t melted yet. I want a squeeze the day brick. I won’t get another coconut lemongrass either. I grew intolerant of the lemongrass. Oh I want another baked apple pie brick. I would get another blue grotto. I wish they’d get more in bricks too.
That’s exactly it for me! Some bricks I haul & use & enjoy and some bricks I order just because they’re there. I think I want “variety” but what I really want is “a variety of the scents I will warm regularly”
I enjoyed cranberry muffin, but it is a weird combo, not an edible cranberry, and then mixed with muffin batter. It went in my club but Ill only warm in my office. I could barely smell it in the kitchen. I was wondering if it was just me or if my sugar cookie bricks just werent performing as well as bar!
I agree! The cranberry in Cranberry Muffin is a perfumy, bodycare cranberry then mixed with a muffin or cake batter. That's exactly what I got too! I didn't get the original bar that they recalled and that was the one everyone seemed to go crazy over so I wonder how much of a difference there is? I have a few of the new ones on hand and will let them sit a few months to cure but right now the combo is so odd to my nose.
@@BarsBrickswithBrandi Good idea I need to try that!
I have put Sugar Cookie in my club & when I get a bar I will warm it along side with an equal portion of my brick to compare performance/scent throw. When my daughter warms individual bars of Sugar Cookie in her house I always comment ‘yum that’s good what is it”. Sugar Cookie by itself smells way stronger in her house & it might be because it’s a bar. I’m testing out Cranberry Muffin today in my kitchen & my lady parlour. For the first several hours the buttery batter was strong. I smelled cranberry but the other dominated. After a couple of hours & into this evening I’m smelling almost no muffin batter (but still a slight sweetness). But I smell an almost flowery cranberry note. It’s interesting, not awful but not a muffin and way less bakery-ish. Not sure how I feel about it.
@@lindah_home_and_scents I actually havent tried a sugar cookie bar in years but i remember it being strong. Ive only been using bricks recently. Maybe it needs more curing? Im gonna try bar again and see if its different as well. I totally get why cranberry muffin is strange, it would be better if it was an edible cranberry scent
I got some bricks I need to get through. And I think the cranberry muffin did great in my house. I got that in my club.
Good luck warming through your brick stash Ashley! I need to as well. First thing I need to do is to cut them up so they’re ready to use. I always open them up, realize that they haven’t been cut so I put them away & pick something else 🙄 Cranberry Muffin has been an excellent performer for me too.
I have Johnny Appleseed in a brick as well, I find it weak. I don’t reach for it much either. I wish they would switch up the bricks as well.
I agree! Johnny Appleseed does not perform as well in brick form. I would love it if Scentsy offer the standard brick scents then spruce things up with seasonal offerings. I’d love a Bonfire Beach brick.
I “accidentally” put cranberry muffin in my downstairs bathroom today while cleaning. I don’t know if it was the small space, but I had to take it out immediately. Soooo cloying! I kept notes for all the BBMBs and I have written “liked it on cold, too sweet and body care on warm. Not a repurchase”
I am so sad about Atlantic Air. I missed it in the flash sale (didn’t process that probably meant it wasn’t returning) and am kicking myself for not stocking up. I clubbed Vanilla cream too. It’s just a lovey scent and a great mixer. I also really enjoyed Starburst Sky but have so many bedroom scents stocked up and it’s so similar to me as Cashmere & Corduroy I passed on clubbing it. I’ve never tried a brick. How do you cut them? 2 of my favorite scents are Sea salt & Avocado and Welcome Home. So a half price brick might be nice!
Hi Amy! Great idea to document your thoughts on the BBMBs - there are 25 & it helps to narrow down your favourites. I’ll probably end up keeping Vanilla Cream in my club too. Bricks are easy to cut. I have a cutting board & cleaver I use just for wax. I take a row of cubes out at a time & cut them up. I cut each cube into either 2, 3 or 4s. I usually warm a half or a third in regular warmers. A quarter in minis. You should search UA-cam for a videos. Several of my fellow Scentsy UA-camrs have done videos on how to cut bricks. I always have bricks in my ‘most used’ scents - Welcome Home is my favourite & I’m planning on hauling Sea Salt Avocado with my next club. Especially now that it’s been discontinued 😳
I’m on the fence about Cranberry Muffin, too. I like it for the first couple hours when the bakery is strong but then all the bakery burns off and the perfumey cranberry is left. I’m not sure it is worth my club space for the short time I enjoy it.
Exactly my take on it Holly! It’s yummy for that initial period then it gets a bit weird. Still sweet but then perfume-y at the same time. I’m thinking of just grabbing a few bars & saving them for next fall.
You look so pretty in that red top!❤
Awww thank you so much 🤗❤️
I’m not sure if this is the same scenario, but I had two quarterly clubs under two different email addresses, both were under my name ,same mailing address, and same consultant. A few weeks ago I requested the club from email A be merged into my club from email B, and they were able to do it!
I understand your husband’s club is likely under his name, but you could change that account information to match yours so you then have two accounts in your name under two email addresses. I would assume you’re the consultant listed for both accounts, so it should be seamless. Then you could request the club under your husbands email address be merged into the club under your email address.
If you try it, just be very clear on which club you want to merge. For example, perhaps you have a monthly and a quarterly club under email A, and you want to merge that quarterly into email B’s quarterly- make it very clear it’s only A’s quarterly you want merged AND NOT A’s monthly. I took pictures before the merge in case anything happened. They always like to see pictures if needing to fix a club issue.
Thank you Kara! I am tucking away this information. The club is in Kevin’s name a different email but the same address. I could change it to my name though. I will leave it until fall because I’ve split the fall-winter bars I’m saving & both clubs are huge. But if most of them come back in September I can remove a bunch & move what’s left into mine. I’m considering doing a quarterly & bimonthly instead. I really appreciate you sharing this with me it’s very helpful! 🤗💛
@@lindah_home_and_scents (I had edited my comment a few times to try to make it simpler so I hope you were able to read that version before you tucked it away lol) 💛💚💛
I enjoyed cranberry muffin and it is in my club. I love all the bars in your husbands club as we have very similar taste. The only one I have not tried is the one from the Valentine’s Day collection. I can justify seeing all those in their lol. Sorry I’m not much of a help lol.
lol …and yes we do have similar taste my friend❣️I’m going to have to trim something though. I have so many in both clubs from the F-W catalogue. In order to get my bar count below 20 I need to play the came ‘this or that’ especially with bakery. Apple Butter Frosting or St Nickerdoodle, Cranberry Muffin or Caramel Apple Craze. Yikes! 😫
Hi Linda..💕
I loved your harlequin moment..😊.
I instantly thought of my hubby and his rich spicy cologne with your the hunky hunky man comment, also being the mirror image of an older buffer Tom Hank helps...🤣🤣
I'm not a fan of Starburst Sky, yes, it sure does smell like cigarette on perfumed clothing.
Cranberry Muffin is perfume cranberry, to me it smells like BBW cranberry hand sanitizer scent, not a fan of the bar at all.
I wish Oats and Honey had made the new bbmb for June, I love it and not in club..
Atlantic Air was a surprise it didn't return, such a beautiful relaxing scent.
I warmed Kukui in my bedroom recently with Vanilla Cream and loved it.
The other bar I like mixed with Vanilla Cream is the Clementine Blossom which is the only Valentine bar I like.
I also mixed it with Birthday Wishes and to my nose, I got a nice strong Clementine Cupcake scent.
As for bricks, I would love to have more but I find that some are not as strong or lasting as the bars so I end up using more brick wax to get the strength and longevity.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and bars.
Looking forward to your next video...😊
Hope you are having a lovely weekend..❤
I always grab a pen & paper when I read your comments Lesley❣️I have enjoyed so many of your mix recommendations I like to jot them down. Yes I’m not sure about Cranberry Muffin - several others have said the same thing about the perfume note. I will have about 4 bars on hand when my next order arrives that might do me. If I take it out of my club I’ll have room for a favourite F/W bar instead. Good point about the bricks - if they aren’t as strong as bars then you end up using more. Some of my bricks do ok but others not so much. Happy Sunday my friend🤗💛
@@lindah_home_and_scents I have to give credit to Tom for a fair number of mixes.
Often he has left the house before its time for me to get up and start my day and I wonder what he has thrown in warmers before leaving the house..
I go through recycle sometimes to try and figure out what he has done..🤣🤣
He does pretty darn good with mixes for a lumberjack/mountainman kinda fella..😉.
I just wish he would stop stealing my campfire, vanilla bourbon, cozy fireside, maple rum cake and graduation for his chambers....I know exactly where Vanilla suede is going to end up when I get it..ugggghhh...lol
He also demanded his own Rock Quarry warmer for his office as i wouldn't let him take mine...lol
I honestly love bricks and will keep getting certain ones for our collections as long as they perform like a bar..
@@lesleyphillips8146 love this! I wish you two were our neighbours!
Linda…. What do you feel is the difference between my home and welcome home?
The only thing in dale’s club is paradise petals and I’d be crazy to pay $10 shipping to keep it. 😞 I wish they’d let us give it to a family member or friend if we wanted… aka shift clubs across. I also wish we could change individual bars around monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly too.
Welcome Home is sweet spice & My Home has a similar sweet spice but mixed with a very very subtle sweet floral. Not sure what type of floral but something soft & home-y. It’s like if you were standing at kitchen counter stirring some batter for cinnamon spice cookies beside a bouquet of flowers. You smell both. Welcome Home smells like the batter but with an extra shake of cinnamon and no flowers nearby. As for the club - I agree. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to reorganize your bars within your various clubs.
Great club!
Thank you!
Great club! I just started my Kevin a club and I’m trying to be choosy of what goes in there to not get out of hand🤦🏼♀️. On bricks…., I strive for a collection like Patricia G has, but I’m nowhere close 😆! Thanks for sharing!❤
Thanks Kara 💛 Yes keep your Kevin’s club in check. It’s a slippery slope 😳 Patricia has a gourmet brick collection! Great goal to chase my friend!
Cranberry Muffin was nice but just wasn’t strong enough to keep in my club.
Yes - I’m still undecided about whether to keep it. Club space is at a premium so I need to absolutely love it. 🤷♀️
Cranberry muffin was a huge disappointment for me. I love cranberry and I love bakery, so I was sure I would love it. I had to pull it out of my warmer within a few minutes! Very odd mixture with the baked goods/perfume combo 🤢
That’s too bad Katelin. Actually several others have said that too - the buttery bakery with a perfume-y cranberry was off- putting. I’m still testing it out. It’s a great performer in my kitchen & I mainly smell the bakery for the first several hours. I do smell a different sort of cranberry later in the warming. It’s smells a bit floral. This was after about 12 hours of warming. It’s in my club for now but we’ll see. 🤷♀️
Great club Linda! So many wonderful bakery scents! 🧁🥯🍰 I'm on the same page re: bricks. For awhile I went on a tear trying to get (almost) all of them and then realized along the way that for some just a couple of bars a season would suffice. There are a few I definitely go through tho and will continue to buy them in brick size like Vanilla Bean Buttercream, Sugar Cookie, Sunkissed Citrus, Skinny Dippin', and Jammy Time. Black Raspberry Vanilla definitely does better in bar form and that's the only one I've noticed a real difference with from bar to brick. I'm running low on all my faves and need to do a brick haul soon! Thanks so much for sharing 😊
Thank you Brandi 🤗💛 I love my bricks - exactly the same list as yours 🙌 I like being able to be generous when using them too. What made me bring it up was I was looking at my stock & realizing I had bricks that I struggle to use up. I have Christmas bricks I’m not keen on. Now we’re going to get Spring-Summer bricks 😳 I am going to be picky about which ones I haul rather than picking up the consultants bundle on those. I want bricks in catalogue scents I use often.
@@lindah_home_and_scents I plan to do the same Linda, just a small monthly in/out club of the new Spring brick scents in bar form to see what I think of them first.
@@BarsBrickswithBrandi excellent idea! I’ll copy you!
