Agree. From the beginning of this group to whenever it ends, Nancy will draw controversy for several reasons. She is the youngest - only 16, she has public exposure from her acting experience, she gets a lot of screen time, she's Eurasian. But the fact is that, even though she's not the leader, this group follows Nancy. It may intimidate some, but Nancy leads Momoland. And its working; she is elevating their dance and visuals and the group is improving because of it.
i think this debut worked so well for them - they're def cute but not exactly the type of sugary sweet and cute concept that blends into everyone else's, for some reason they pulled off having this uniquely quirky vibe and killed it with a super catchy hook. I can't help wondering how the song would sound if they'd found a way to get rid of the jjan koong kwang chorus and just left the babeh beh beh beh part, something about it is flat, though the point moves are simple and fitting enough that it kinda saves it

Nancy is the only member who can consistently deliver vocals, dance, and visuals simultaneously on the live stage. I am sorry but they were a mess on the show and most of the hate they receive stems from that(and the rest is for their name). Many thought they were not fit for debut plus they dropped their best vocalist on the show(she even left the company for another group now). Nancy receives so much hate for getting more screen time but she was the most consistent member on the survival show(never let us down in any episode) but then she had some sort of rumour or scandal (not sure) *sigh*. But I am glad I stuck around because they seem to have worked very hard and those fan chants make me feel proud for being a fan.
Accurate assessment. I look forward to seeing Heejae in Mixx. She will stand out there. They dropped another good vocalist: Shinsia. She was their best shot at a power lead. Dunno about these Duble Kick guys, but this group is working very hard and they are making good progress.
