    I went on pilgrimage there in 2019 (with the Marians, by the way), awesome Catholic country

    Why is Sobieski not declared saint by now? I think it would make 100% sense to declare him a saint in this day and age. Any thoughts about that?

    Pope John Paul II was Polish and many believe he played a key role in destroying communism in Eastern Europe.

      Played a role, yes… It’s a bit like saying the Sun plays a role in providing daylight. He was key, absolutely instrumental, in destroying communism in Europe.
