It is so friggen dark. But the worldbuilding and the characters and the monsters and the not quite monsters and the morales. Probably my favorite thing in this Anime is that most characters would just have said, "Nope, screw this. I'm out of here." But this crew of literal children are just like, "Well that was some crap and a lot of maiming and death, give me a minute. Okay, I'm good. I wonder what the next layer is gonna be like?" They just believe and ain't nothing gonna disuade them. They literally have two ways now that can find a way to get out but they aren't gonna be the ones that live life wondering if they could have.
Yeah I really hope we get to see Lyza eventually, and the other sovereigns, just more world building in general would be really good, the manga and also slowed down so the bottom layers aren’t really known yet. I need Ozen to get more screen time lmao. She’s my girl
I just finished the Anime, and am currently following the ongoing manga, and so far it's surprisingly good, it's dark too, but it's not dark as compared to Berserk and AOT. i know many fans love the characters, but since the story has dark elements, i want it more to be dark, i want more character d3aths and tortur3 (im not physcho okay lol) ✌️
Oh yea, this one. i actually haven't seen this yet, but i have heard about it and haven't gotten around to it since I've been used to watching sad and dark animes before since I've watched shows like "akame ga kill" and "to your entity".
It’s honestly really good, though disturbing at times lmao, it’s an interesting mix for sure. I’ve seen Akame ga kill, I enjoyed it, then they killed blonde woman :(

As someone who has seen shows like jojo's bizarre adventure where dio has made a human mother in a zombie and made her eat her own child, seen akame ga kill that can have a decapitated head on pole, hellsing ultimate even had impaled soliders before, while also the castlevania anime having gore in it. So like gore and other dark things for me wouldn't really give me that much ptsd but I do understand what you're saying
@@slicklink9131 Well, its more than that. Hard to explain. Most things happen to kids, and some things are so bad it made me question the Mangaka's mental health that he even came up with that. Some things are worse than death, and coupled with the horror of kids and other people going down a hole they can never return from, you get something that is really unique in a twisted way. And in the same time its also beautiful and innocent. There's a reason this thing got a special reputation. In FMA there's the episode with Tucker, his daughter and dog. This looks like warmup to Made in Abyss.
