Subhas Bose was in Russia during 1945-46. He had some radio broadcasts during that time. But Stalin took him hostage and successfully blackmailed Nehru to buy Russian arms and not to go to the US camp. Bose later on died in Russian jail. It is for this that the Modi govt is not declassifying some files citing the reasons that it may hamper relations with friendly countries.

The two questions he did not ponderover. In the red fort cases why there was no deshbhakt advocate appearing for the INA soldiers and only 'corrupt and deshdrohi' Nehru appeared. Jinna went to Shah Nawaz to make a Muslim point and was promptly been kicked out by the brave INA officer. Before The colonial authorities realize the Red Fort cases have made their impact. Navy and Air Force has revolted and the army has refused to fire upon them. This great historian of ours shall never tell you that at the moment when nationalist forces reached the most bargaining position, Patel, incidentally the first INC leader who agreed for partition, declared that the revolting soldiers were gundas and mawalis.
Second question Kashmir. Indian army reached Srinagar in October 47 and the sieze fire came in effect on January 49. In this period of more than 1 year we have lost Gilgit Baltistan courticy lazy Ghansara, there were no proper supply lines and communication and what was left to occupy was the most inhospitable terrain. Pakistanis were also making claims they would have won had there been no cease fire after losing all the vital areas which they have captured before Indian army arrived.
