A revive Stamen would be a dream, but the old HG really isnt all that bad. When you put into perspective its from 2002 its honestly better than some of the hgs that followed it in later years. The folding arms puts it way above hgs from its time and the back skirt moving is still something Bandai leaves out of modern kits.
Almost as big as a game console, I can imagine modding it into one console while the I Field generator acts as a projector without using a TV. A long Barrel acts as a Wireless antennae. And can plug in a base stand like MGEX Unicorn-ish when powered up heheh 🥰🥰
Ps5 is 15.4 inches tall, 10.24 inches deep and 4.09 inches wide dimensions so the model is actually bigger than a game console. Half the weight though.
What if, because the HG is so old, and I know it just won’t happen because it would be too big, but… What if they made an MGEX Dendrobium, with the extreme point being the most detailed, intricate Gundam model ever? Also it would probably be be biggest.
There is the third party 1/72 scale Dendrobium by Rodams that is positively insane and pretty much what you're talking about. It's a complete redesign that goes WAY over the top in every way, tons of LEDs, etched parts, the works. It's also like 5' long and 2' tall lmao. Took me 6 months at 4-6 hours a day to build it. It makes this one look cute lol.
@@etankhardcore that kit wouldn't really counted as a fully complete dendrobium because the weapon container just like extra equipment hanging on the gundam, opposed to like hg where the gundam sit in it
Really surprised they didn't include any kind of alternate neck/head part(s) to let the HG look forward while in the Dendrobium. Considering the cost of the kit and the overlap in colors between the GP03S and the rest of the Dendrobium it seems like it would've been easy to throw it on another runner in this kit.
It may surprise you to consider that the kit actually came out in 2002 hence the limited articulation of the stamen ( along with major seamlines pose ability etc) if redesigned now articulation would be greatly improved including the neck joint and waist joint, I actually used an exia on my orchis 🤫 I'll eventually get around to making the gundam look better 🤔 maybe

Forgive the nerd here: the suit and platform together both make up the Dendrobium unit. The weapons platform is known as the “Orchis” and the suit is known as the “Stamen”. That’s all falling in line with the units of the Gundam Development project being named after flowers.
I recently built my own and repainted it entirely with detailing, preshading and all. I also added led and a motor in the turbine. Also did a kitbash for the the HG that I mixed with an RG gp01. Now a friend of mine asked me to built his too but I'm not sure my girl will accept two dendrobium in the apartment 😂
I hope its the last stage lol, my wallet is begging for mercy and Ive been looking at the dendrobium for several years now and now its the only one i wanna build.
I would think so, considering this is just HG and it costs as much as a typical Perfect Grade. Another I would put in this category is HG Neo Zeong Narrative.

As someone who's built the HG and MG Stamen one thing that's always bugged me is the lack of the beam jite that's supposed to attach to the beam rifle. Also, canonically the Stamen didn't use a core block system like it's predecessor, Zephyranthes, which is why a core fighter isn't included, or at least that's my reasoning.
Yeah, I assume the standalone kit only included it because it was supposed to be an option for it, but they ended up going with the panoramic cockpit when they actually used the MS in the series
