Brighten up, is often the only concealer I can use in the depths of winter. I've heard great things about hydralips and her cloud moisturiser.

I was hoping you'd try Sculpted by Aimee when you were over here. When you're checking out the display, check out their lippies and lipliner in one. It's long pen like container and one end is the lippie other end is wind up liner. Genius idea as I always have an issue finding a matching lipliner! I always seem to lose the bloomin things too. Typical of an Irish summer Shelly, you have to wear a fleece in July. This weather is driving me nuts at the moment. I've seen Christmas days warmer than this week. Crazy and the rest of Europe is melting.

Ha ha! I’m on my fourth tube of this - shade 2.75, which is more neutral than the golden shade name would suggest. I’m from Galway and was going to recommend this on your last video but didn’t think you would use something that’s not so widely available! I see you’re experiencing our many varieties of rain with good grace… and you’re right. Umbrellas are useless 😂

I bought this along with two primers in Dublin last summer. Unfortunately, not a single one worked for me. 😢 They went in the bin shortly thereafter. Soooo bummed! On a happy note - seeing your footage of the Cliffs of Moher made my ❤️ sing! Oh how I love Ireland!!!

This broke down and was patchy all over (not just forehead where there’s a very slight sheen) despite trying with two different primers from the brand. I don’t know why it didn’t gel with my skin, apart from me not being dry skinned?? I soooo wish it looked on me like it did on Shelly!!!
Glad you are getting out and about here, the rain has been sooooo bad over the last two weeks, showers are torrential. I thought we were around the same shade, but sculpted in 3 is even too dark for me. When you get back could you please check out the Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation. It is about 1/2 the price of the Chanel Water Fresh Tint. It's so pretty - I got this one and the Hydra Tint (though I had to go a half shade lighter in the Hydra than I wanted because the shade I wanted had just come out and was sold out). They're both beautiful and I will absolutely repurchase this one.

I did try her Tint & Glow - did not care for it. I’ve settled on Trinny London BFF. It’s some kind of new technology; it covers without weight. I only need a little smoothing, so it’s perfect. Problem is: hugely expensive and I was trying to find something as good at a lower price. But everything else is “old technology” and can’t compare to Trinny. Oh, well.
"They're just being brats today" I hate when I have a bad eyebrow day 😂. Mine are pretty thick so all I use is eyebrow wax (btw, totally recommend the Elf brow wax, it's cheap and the only thing I've found that can tame my brows) and yeah, some days they just don't want to cooperate! As someone with normal-dry skin that is alao the palest of the pale, this caught my eye maybe a year ago, but I didn't end up ordering it. I'm always looking for a dewy/light coverage base and it looks pretty on you so I might have to try it now! P.S. loving the shots of Ireland! So beautiful!

No, she passed a few days after I got home. Heartbreaking. Last summer at the Galway Film Fleadh (the festival we go to with my students every year), the closing film that we all went to see was a documentary on Sinéad who I loved, and it was so powerful watching the students (the women especially) be empowered by her story. Seeing that impact in modern day was just amazing to me, and makes losing her from the world feel even more tragic.
I’m not going to lie, it feels like you were biased in this video and not nearly as critical about things like fragrance and coverage as you normally are. It just felt contrived.
I think there is something about this foundation that is really appealing, so subjectivity is more in play. Sometimes it happens. Though, she did say the scent was just really fresh . . .
