downloaded music from youtube (from an video file) download it with 'youtube downloader mp3 format made cuts with an mp3 file cutter and my usb is FAT32 but my car stereo can't read it...If i download mp3 files from an torrent as an example then there is no problem....How is it possible that my car stereo CAN'T read these mp3 files??? Getting frustrated! Also changed the low 128 bitrate to 320 and also deleted all the info on the mp3 file...Nothing seems to work.......HELP ME PLEASE!...........
I have been playing music from my flashdrives for a few years now. What I have discovered is that if the music I have on my flashdrives are recorded from CD's, then there are no issues. If I record music off the internet via my tablet THEN to my windows xp computer to a flashdrive, then I can run into issues. BUT what I also discovered is if I use a plug in adaptor that can play flashdrives than these things will play ANYTHING music wise, so no more issues!! Just with plug in players ( if you will ) you have to find an FM frequency that not used and it will play to your radio and program accordingly.
My USB flashdrive is formatted to FAT32. It plays on my laptop and on another little stereo that I have but it won't play on my Onkyo stereo receiver. Do you know why??
Mine still doesn't work. The songs are in mp3 format and the flash drive in FAT32. The songs play on the laptop but not in the car. Other audios play in the car but not these ones. What could be wrong?

The main key is u need to format the pendrive to FAT32. But make sure your pendrive capacity is not having more than 32GB bcoz pendrive that have capacity more than 32GB does not have FAT32 option.

Update: I fixed all songs that didnt play by deleting the jpg covers. Still dont know why some didnt work because all of my songs were tagged with jpg covers and only a few didnt play.
OMG !! I can see all these guys doesnt know a simple thing and they are so amazed about your "help"... But in the last 20 years was SAME, nothing changed so far: THE USB DRIVES GENERALLY WORKS ON ALL DEVICES IN FAT32 FILE SYSTEM !! On some devices works also in NTFS or xFAT, etc. Unbelievable !!

this will only work for drives under 32 gb . to use a 64 gb or higher you will have to partition it to 32 gb
