  • This is a remake of the black and brass Casablanca Zephyr ceiling fan I filmed earlier, now on an actual ceiling. The tag says "GO97691" which indicates that the fan was made in July of 1981. I have always wanted a Zephyr with variable speed. Now I have one and I wanted to hang it on an actual ceiling. The Hang Tru canopy is not original and I was forced to use it because all my other Hang Tru canopies including the one that came with the fan were recalled. I do not have a recall clip at the moment, so the canopy you see on the fan is off of my 1996 Panama. The original light kit you saw on the last video is broken, so I installed the Litex Close Up's deep fitter. Like I said before, this fan uses Slumber Quiet (which still works). The bearings are showing wear. This fan wobbles a bit, and I will do something about it when I can. The fan uses the Silent-Flex flywheel, which is a bit more floppy than the flywheels on my other Casablanca fans.

I wish it wasn't a victim of a storage topple. That's what broke the light. It also smashed the switch housing near the knob
