Oh my goodness he is adorable! Thanks for making this video, I saw someone add legs to the regular Mattel body and pop them in a onesie and it had me thinking... I wonder if I could just splice a cheap reborn doll body with his head/hands and now I see there's an even better way!
I just bought $3 newborn baby pants with feet and put some poly pellets and pillow stuffing in them. :)
I will order a second baby yoda and customise it like this one (just waiting for the body to arrive).
You could also just buy a $10 baby doll from a toy shop and replace the head/hands and ties. :)

To be honest, I just can't stand the thought of taking my baby apart, even though I think the mods are cool. SKS Props shows how to add magnets to the hands and make a control knob (ping pong ball) and a blue cookie (foam) for him to hold.
I do reborns so going modify my son's. But going put weight in hands and head also magnet for pacifier. Can't decide on what size body
Did you make him yet? I've got the smaller one. I will make him on the weekend. I will add magnets to his head and hands. Is there a way to add them without using glue (tape instead)?

What about stuffing the head with poly fil and puttig a bit if beads in it like u did to the body? I made 5 baby yodas and did not skip on his head.
I didnt want mine too heavy. I actually had added that but then took it out because he was too top heavy to me and I didnt want him falling over.

I got four bodies the other day and did my three and my sisters. My sister is thinking of doing another and a client has asked for help for doing five for her grandchildren. I thought I would not want to do the reborn bodies but I am so glad that I did, they are worth it.
lol Baby Yoda chat! Frankenstein it up! Flipping the switch on the twist ties! Cut them at the knees - Instant knee highs lol (I mean as long as you don't actually have to wear them it should be fine - right?) You are a braver woman than me - I know I would break it beyond repair.
That headless Baby Yoda is so sad looking. Nice! Reusing the stuffing. Smart! I love that you show the issues too - like with mug and the stockings slipping. That is a lot of extra stuffing left - I guess size wise there is quite a difference. Great tip with the pillow - and the not too tight on the hands! That looks so good! That outfit is so cute! I really, really love him! I'm to chicken to even try.
Mine was really hard to get apart (cable ties and plugs were almost glued). It did take me a while to do because I stuck magnets in his had and hands, and kept changing the weights and stuffing to see what worked. It made a mess, worth it though. He feels so cute, and he looks gorgeous in his little outfit. :)

Rosannes boutique can't take any more orders for awhile. So many people are requesting the yoda body. I'm going with the footed pants you showed in a previous video. Can't wait till my baby Yoda arrives from Target.
She wasnt taking orders for the green bodies, but was offering other colors as far as I know. That's why I went with the light aqua.

Awesome video! Thank you so much for your brilliant mind and, creations! 💯 idk if, you would use this but, a lil tip when making other one's is to put the beads inside the cup first than the panty hose on the cup as u did and, turn the cup upside down so all the beads drop inside the panty hose and whatever's extra you need to remove you can easily do so and, there is no mess to clean up and again thank you so much you are awesome 🙌🏾

I'm the same, I get all nervous before I start a project like this! o_O :D The new little fellow came out adorable, though! :D I was just sitting here thinking that he was lucky you saw the potential in him despite his eye "owie" so... Let me throw the name Lucky into the ring, lol! And I'd be remiss if I also didn't mention that *everything* I've ever had with any sort of eye "issue" got nicknamed Pirate Pete around here.
