Engl E530 'modern rock' Tube Preamp

SSS Strat ( 'scuse the buzz!) plugged straight in, no boost.
I love this unit, it has a serviceable headphone out (built-in analog cab sim), stereo fx loop, built in 2x1.5w stereo power amp (to drive a guitar cab) and really decent clean / crunch tones to go with the epic, tight lead channel.
If using the built-in power amp, I'd recommend a 'smiley' EQ in the loop as the unit doesn't have its own resonance or presence controls, otherwise any decent power amp will bring it to life.
Demo recorded direct to interface, vintage 30 cab sim applied in pro tools, and some reverb on the clean section.
