It used to be the ultimate car show (mainly VW’s and Audi’s years ago) and now it’s filled with people who aren’t even car enthusiasts and are there just to trash this beautiful city. Great video man! I havent been to H20i in like 2 years. Last time i was there, i was cruising around and i got 5 tickets w/ an impound. My most expensive weekend to this day (excessive camber, unsafe suspension, modified exhaust, stretched tires and obstruction of view (sticker on the front windshield)) over $500 w/ impound fees. The cop literally had a guage to measure the height, tint profile and camber on my car SMH! Thank God i have a good traffic lawyer!! I even had to sue the tow company for damaging my wheel; i was mad tight!! So sad OC decided to lash out at us, we're a huge part of that city's revenue (gas, food, hotels and BEEEERRRR). I BET they will miss us when the event is officially moved. I will never return there.

Although I have zero interest in attending h2o (just.... Too much. Too much youthful bro energy lol) it's pretty shortsighted of OCPD to be handing out tickets and impounding for such miniscule details, which I'm sure they'll realize when h2o moves to another city and OC suddenly no longer has MASSIVE yearly influx of cash. As a city, they'd be far better giving tickets to people who are actually speeding/racing/etc and letting those who have come to have a good time and spend money on food and hotels continue to do so. Really bad logic.

Citizens who live in the area have been begging for something to be done about it because it is driving the reliable customers out of the city. Businesses are moving North to Rehoboth and Bethany. You wouldn't understand how violent it truly is, especially because as you said "you have zero interest in attending". In fact, you actually hint it is too violent. I've seen stabbings, fist fights, arrests, explosions, crime scenes, robberies, fatal accidents, and bullet holes. The tickets and impounding are calculated.
So i have a fairly stock e90. It's on air (riding at stock ride heigh), bigger wheels, and i have a sticker the size of a two dvd cases on my passenger rear windows. Am i gonna get towed for no reason if i go?
