I lost my son 6 weeks ago, and the day when I brought his cremains home (5 days after his passing), my sister and BIL visited to pay respects and BIL commented, "it feels like he's here", and it really did. A few hours after of us hanging out, crying and consoling each other, they went home and I left to go run errands. I turn on my Ring camera to record motion every time I go out, and I know my baby jumped on the couch, which caused my throw pillow to fall sideways. I have this on video, along with now countless videos of his aura/orbs in the middle of the night always going in one direction: from the kitchen to the bedroom. I get so much comfort and feel deep gratitude knowing he's with me!

Can a dog soul into another dog
When I lost my sweet girl a few years ago, we had a memorial on the back deck of our family home, and when I was reading out some words I had written to honour her, a sky-writing love heart was being made in the sky behind me 💓
My sweet baby Bam Bam just passed on just this passed week on Friday. And i was so grief strucking that i cried myself to sleep. And when i woke up there was a rainbow down my hallway, shining bright with all the colors of the rainbow. Shining underneath my hallway ceiling light. And also i heard the sounds of dog barks in my apt and other signs too. The very same day he passed. This is him in my profile picture. I miss and love him dearly.
Christmas Day 2023 we were sleeping over at my sister's house. They have a dog that looks like our dog who crossed over in 2022. Christmas morning their dog goes into the room we were staying at, jumped up on the bed, scratched the bed, asked for scritches...all of that almost exactly how our dog used to do. Then she left and my husband and I were still marveling at how much she acted like our dog, and not even a minute later our 5 year old comes into the room and says, "look I found a feather!" and hands it to us. I'm convinced that our dog came to visit and wish us a Merry Christmas. ❤
Two weeks after my beloved cat died I sat down in a park for a moment and something made me look up look up to the sky …within seconds I could see her face in the cloud’s directly over me .,,I took a photo to reassure myself I wasn’t imagining it.. I later showed it to my sister and she spotted it immediately.,,
My dog just passed away on the 21st of March and that night my husband and I were eating and she used to do a little whine bark when we weren't sharing it with her, we heard that whining bark at the same time in the same place. I also got a glimpse her that same night laying on our bed while I was vacuuming which she always had. And my husband heard what sounded like her laying against our bathroom door which she always did as well. And I've gotten signs from her since then and I also feel her presence still as we do have her ashes and her collar ect. I hope this helps someone 💜
My beloved Dingo passed away yesterday. My heart is in pieces. I can feel him comforting me while I lay in bed crying. I felt this tingling sensation on my leg where he usually liked to cuddle. Once in a while I will sense his smell on and off. It’s wonderful to know he is here with me.
My beloved dog of 15 died of cancer she was fine a year before this a lump formed on her stomach a tried to take her to vet but she was to old for surgery the lump increased and it was the size of gratefruit i made her something to cover it but the lump was so hard and big I didn’t want to loose her but things got much worst she was unable to walk or eat I couldn’t leave her like this. We took her to the vet to put her to sleep .as you can imagine the state I was on in we got back home and I cried uncontrollably that very night I asked god to show me her .i saw in a dream where she was in the vets I saw the vet injecting her I saw myself crying then my dog peacefully went .i then saw a huge angle with white wings lift my dog up and hold her in the angles arms as I looked down at the vets table where she was put to sleep her body was still there I then saw her running she was younger she was running in a field she wore a pink colour I bought her then she tuned her head around to me as if to say goodbye I lost her pink collar ages ago I searched everywhere then a month after she died it showed up I felt more at peace knowing she’s free from cancer and happy once again
Thank you for this video ❤️ I had to put my beloved Jake down at Vet Hospital on 01/19/22. He was 17.7 years old. Soon, I walked out vet hospital with Jake in the box, huge sun came out behind the building. I know it was Jake telling me that he crossed rainbow. No more suffering from pain🌈🙏❤️ Next day, I cremated Jake, on the way home, sky opened up. I cried everyday because I missed Jake very much. RIP Jake 💚💙❤️
My little dog used to sleep next to me and after she passed I felt her curled up next to me on the bed as if she was letting me know she was still with me
Since he passed, my cat has made sounds to let me know he’s there: sounds of nails on the stairs, and chirps. Sometimes I can also feel his energy and vibration of purring on my lap.

How long did it take to start feeling your cats energy around you??Mine passed away Tuesday ,and I've been praying for something to happen to tell me he is still with me...I saw him faintly sitting outside in one of his favorite spots but I don't know if it was just my mind playing tricks on me.......I miss him so much.

@@starrmorefield5716 sounds like you already got a sign! I started having signs within days of him passing, once I stopped being hysterical and had more presence.
I recently lost my Bella in my profile picture (4/30). I still have her brother. One day my special needs daughter was calling to a dog and no one was there. She calls them all Sparky and I am so sure it was my Bella. Another day, my husband said my other dog Remmie was staring at a bed they shared but wouldn't go in. He stood there for a long time and always let his sickly older sister decide where she would lay down first. He eventually went in. I'm so sure he saw her. Well, of course, I wanted to see her and touch her and felt like I wanted my turn. After that, I started to smell her and the food she ate and felt her near. I miss her so much but truly feel she is happy and grateful for the love and care she got here. She is finally doing all of the things she loved to do and could not do in the final months.
My mother passed away in 2017 she drowned in the bathtub she used to have really bad anxiety and she would always have dimes and scratch the dimes against her fingernails cause she said it soothes her anxiety.
After my mom passed away, I started seeing times everywhere in weird places. I told my husband and he believed me my sister thinks I’m crazy. I’m so glad I found this video!!! My kitty just passed away today

I just lost my precious boy only 4 days ago… I have asked him to visit me and stay with me and communicate with me, he showed himself to me the day after he passed. He was ar the top of the stairs, there was a bold and bright violet aura around him and I could see him but not well… I heard words in my head to comfort me, to know he is ok and still with me. It was a deeper voice. A voice I would not have imagined him to have and I wouldn’t have just envisioned him to have a bright aura around him either so after talking myself out of it that it’s just what I wanted to see and hear, I knew that was really him coming to visit and communicate with me … I’ve always been intrigued by animal communicators and since my soul pet is gone, I really would love to become one myself
I feel my cat Cloud jump up on my bed to sleep with me sometimes. She and I also used to love listening to the wind chimes on the patio by my bedroom door. Sometimes they swing and ring without much wind and I know it is her. ❤️
2 days ago I euthanized my 18 yr old dog Beezbo. I had him for 16 of those years. He had many ailments. My husband and I are separated but he allowed me to stay at the house where we buried Beezbo. I stayed 2 nights and tonight I had planned to stay alone in my apartment for the first time since Beezbo passed. I was anxious about it. I got home from work and was met by a bird at my door. It stayed for a minute or so. I know this was sent from Beezbo. He knew I was worried about staying alone. This is just one of many signs/ gifts from him.💜
My daughter Winter died Saturday April 29, 2023. I held her in my arms as she died. On Monday I was in the bathroom 🚽 where she use to come with me in snd as I sat there I saw a white shadow by the bathroom and she disappeared after I was happy. For the pass few days I’ve cried and still mourning.
I'm sorry sorry for your loss. I just lost my baby boy, Mr cat 2 days ago. He was the most beautiful white, slightly orange striped color. His eyes were often completely round and very human looking, not at all the thin black slits my outside stray neighborhood cats have. We payed games all day every day and we're so deeply in love. It was bliss. I told him every day in a singing voice, I love you Mr Cat. I love you. I told him the story of when we met when he was a young kitten and always tell him he means the world to me. I told him from the bible, " you are my son, with you I am well pleased". We had an entire language of different meows and sounds and knew exactly what we meant. If my roommate was too loud, he does a machine-gun meow, as we call it, telling us to quiet down. Mr Cat had to me cuddling or touching me constantly, at all times, even and especially when Im sitting on the toilet if I leave the door open. When I shower he stands up and pokes his head in the curtain and looks at me for a moment, then lays on the bathroom floor until I get out. When I'm done drying off I walked into my bedroom and stad very still and pretend to creep up to my bed, and he immediately crawls out in a hurry and gives a great big huge MEOW! And stands on the bed following me around rubbing his head on me while I try to dress. Once in bed he jumps on my chest immediately, smashes his face onto mine and gives me kisses. Then he whips around and had me pet his butt while he scratches the bed in-between my legs and makes holes sometimes 😊 then he nuzzles into my armpit, sniffs and snorts and pushes me and tickled me until I laugh and laugh! Until finally circling and nestling comfortably between my arm and side while I play a game or watch UA-cam. When I was ready for sleep he would walk over me and lay right against my heart just below my chin, and I would move my face closer so my nose was buried in his fur and I gave little kisses every few minutes while petting him. We would watch UA-cam on my phone like that for hours until falling asleep. And when I toss and turn, flipping from one side to the other, he would get up and cross over me and nestle back into place. Didn't Matter how many times I'm changed positions either. This is the last few hours of our daily routine, but there was so much more. We had games we played on top of games. We were playmates, friends, family, and lovers. We were in bliss. I've never known unconditional love so deep except from my mother, who coincidentally passed about a year or so before he was born.
My baby boy and soul mate in this life and in the next.
Since I put to sleep my 17 years old dog Coco I feel extremely guilty for doing it. She is in my heart ❤️ Every day I am heartbroken. One day after she passed I looked up at the clouds and there she was. I see her and other pets also. I see them playing together.

Today is the one-year anniversary since my pet dog died and I have received signs all week.
I had a dream earlier this week, my dog appeared in the dream, she knocked an item off her stairs, I picked it up and it was a pure white feather.
Earlier today, I was waiting for the bus, which is something I rarely do, and while I was waiting for the bus a truck drove past me and it had my dogs name on it, turns out it was a company name.
I was very curious so I googled the company name and this is when things got really interesting… it turns… the owner of the company’s last name was spelled the same way as my dogs, and the owners first name was spelled the exact same way of a previous dog I had when I was a child.
So, it had shocked me a bit, but I realized that it was a major sign and it made me happy to know that both my dogs are in heaven and watching over me.

Hi Dr Cara, I just wondered hope to cope inbetween the passing and the return of the ashes. I lost my cat baby girllast Tuesday.She was aged 19, and died on the same date as her mommy, but 13 years apart. The Wiccan Sabbat of Beltaine. I have been in floods of tears ever since, and barely able to function even though I do have other cats to love and take care of. My bond with both of them was very strong, but I think this hit harder due to her long life. Even so, 19 years was way too short for me. The sign I get from her at the moment is to say 'it's okay', because that's what I was saying to her when she was leaving me (along with I love you). I miss her so much.

A dog of mine passed away two years ago, She and I had the deepest, and most profound interconnectedness I have ever had with any animal (and I grew up with animals/pets my entire life.)
When she was alive, we communicated, almost always simply transcending english, and just employing eye contact.
Anyhow, after she passed, she started showing up in dreams caring for me, and then gradually began to always appear clearly in my mind to me during waking hours anytime I felt stressed; ashamed; depressed: worried; frightened; etc., etc., about anything. Totally incredible. Even happened again today. I keep thinking she must be an angel.

Yes Phoebe jumped up on the bed and would lay on my leg or up against me ,, and she done it quite a few times , also scratching at the door and also ruffing up her bed ,, her passing was very hard for me , i love her so much ! and i love her staying with me ,, i know we will be together again when that day comes for me ! I will be picking up Phoebe and never letting her go
My cat, Spirit, sees spirits. He seems mesmerized by by something he sees, usually in my bedroom at night. His tail twitches and he is totally absorbed by something he sees moving around in the room. Fascinated, his gaze moves from the window to the wall behind the bed to the bedroom door, and sometimes he even appears to be watching something moving on the floor. I don't see anything or sense anything usual myself. I would love to know what it is he is so fascinated by! My other cat, Findly, died nearly two years ago and I keep wondering if Findly is still hanging around. If anyone has had this experience with their pets, I would love to hear from you!
My Kitty Angel Died 11 days ago. My Kitty Stitch sees spirits for sure!!! It's exactly as you described. I know he sees Angel because he's more excited than ever before and even wakes me up to show me something is with us. It's gotta be Angel. Stitch has seen spirits for a long time, but until Angel passed, Stitch had never woken me up for a spirit before.
I had a similar experience too.. my cat Ella was eating and suddenly she looked up into this empty room where I always sleep with my other cat Max who has been missing for a month now... I've not had closure still, and im still wondering if he's alive out there crying and missing him.. 😢 ao she looked up at that same spot went few steps towards that and sat watching.. I wish I could've seen what she saw ao I know for sure 😪
My fur baby Shihtzu Micho passed away last October 5,2023 in my arms and I was devastated and in deep grief even after almost 3 weeks. He manifested himself many times through his powder scent, a white walking shadow at the periphery of my eyes, the sound of barking that resembled his, and his cold nose on my feet while doing my yoga in the morning., and once his form in the clouds for his belly scratch which was his favorite to say I Love You Mom. I do my meditation on him to manifest his presence oftentimes before I sleep at night and early in the morning and I believe in my heart that we're having a real connection from the afterlife. I always believe in the rainbow bridge where we can be together again in spirit.

My little Doxie named AuggieDog passed last August 25 2022. And the day after we buried her. Her dog crate was sitting on the porch. I was standing beside it thinking about her and a butterfly came out of nowhere and slowly flew up and sat right on the top of the crate. As if it where trying to communicate something. Then lifted its wings as if to say goodby and flew away. And I had a distinct feeling it was my dog saying goodby I’m at peace. And I love you. I’m as free as the wind.
I have seen my cats in the house around me occasionally but mostly they come to me in my dreams. My cat Seamus and I went on a walk together in my dreams. Another dream I was in bed and I saw my dog Brandy there with me snd he morphed into my cat Seamus. I was running my hands through his fluffy fur . I woke up weeping as the feel of his fur was SO REAL, like he was right there in the physical with me.
My dear cat Skinny disappeared six weeks ago today. We are still searching for him and holding out hope that he is alive, but at the same time, I've been receiving signs from him, so I'm not sure if he's still here in earthly form or not. Skinny always saw his role as our protector and provider; he was a hunter and he frequently left mice or kangaroo rats in significant places for us. One of those places was the door mat at the front door of our home. One morning about three weeks after he disappeared, I found the dried skin of a small animal on our door mat. It might have been our other cat who put it there, but that's not her usual routine. I think it was Skinny leaving us a sign that he's with us, looking out for us and demonstrating his devotion to us. I miss him so much :(.
I've had all these signs one month after my girl transitioned, which was 11/29/2021. My toy poodle definitely saw her walking around our cabin (the main room we occupy all the time, and sleep in also) Little Juliette sat on the bed and looked down and was definitely watching a 'moving' energy and I knew it was Cheyana. Cheyana also came to me yesterday and had me pull 5 cards from one of my Oracle decks pertaining to 'me right now' - I've been grieving intensely, as has my toy poodle, every card was "so her!" It did take her a month of our earth time for her to settle in her angelic realm, as her guides told me she would be communicating soon, but 'not yet'. Today she gave me a full 'lesson' transmission, and told me within this transmission I must trust myself as a powerful multidimensionalist, animal communicator and healing facilitator. She also told me some of the things you are saying on this video. So, THANK YOU!
My precious Ginger dog started having breathing issues during our week long retreat in Sedona. Afterwards I was completely broken and in tears. By the next afternoon, I managed to visit the coffee bar at that retreat, where all the freshly prepared drinks were, but this day all the offerings were lemonade with Ginger, strawberry with Ginger, orange with Ginger, and even the lunch came with Cacao with Ginger. It was incredible to see. Then I went to visit the Chapel and another little white dog was there that looked exactly like my dog, Ginger. My other dog who is still alive also looks intently at something that I can’t see and sometimes, even though it’s rare, has even started barking. I feel there’s alot more going on than most people realize.

Throughout my life, I've experienced every sign you mentioned here. Most recently a formerly-feral cat, part of the capped-colony I care for, died suddenly. Every now and then since his leaving us, I hear his very distinct high-pitched meow when I go outside to feed the others. I also feel his presence when this happens, and am usually engulfed with feelings of love.
Thank you. I lost my hamster in January and I had 2 dreams of her within days of her passing.
I also keep singing the same song that I use to sing to her and it is always the same time every night.😢
My cat Alley died Sunday 7/7/24. He was 19. I miss him so much!
One sign that I see. I got another dog after I had pretty much gotten over mourning the loss of my princess. And I noticed every once in awhile my new dog will demonstrate behaviors that were quite unique to princess. My new dog's name is Chula.
I lost my baby Baby koko this past Monday I asked her for a sign and she visited me yesterday I felt her jump off my leg of the bed she uses to lay with me every night then later in the day I heard her squeak her squeaky she loved her squeakies
I have felt my lil Beti walking around the end of my bed by my feet where she slept. She was doing her circles to get it comfy before she would lay down. It’s always when I’m in that in between state of sleeping and awake. We were glued together everyday. Miss her every day. 😒

A few minutes after my Long haired Daschund Rustelle passed away. I saw a white moth fly out the room. And my dad received the video Of The man that passed away who sings Over The Rainbow 🌈 so everytime I see a Rainbow I know she is with me.
This past Sunday morning
I found my cat who was missing all day Saturday and quickly noticed that she had injuries that needed vet attention. Being Sunday most all vets are closed and I drove her to an emergency vet hospital over an hour away.
They took her right in and I waited another couple of hours before they called me in for a consultation. There was more damage than I thought which upset me. But what really upset me was the cost they quoted. I had been there for 4 hrs. I was physically and emotionally exhausted. I thought it would be best for her to be put to sleep when the vet offered it as an option. The next day I realized that maybe I shouldn't have made that decision, but of course it was too late. The pain & grief, not to mention the guilt have been almost unbearable.
my pet passed away on august 14,2023 . after a week at night before going to bed . i talked to my dog holding her harness . i beg my dog to come visit me . that same night i had a dream and in my dream , i saw her running in the kitchen going towards her bed and i embrace her . my dream is so real and it made me cry .
My pearl cross the rainbow bridge on 7.7.2021. At 5.00 am in my arms. It was t saddest day of my life. She was very human. She gave both me and my daughter 11 yrs and 37 days. She was a shi Zhu. She shared a special bond w us. She had heart problem. I try t safe her w all t herbs. And doc medicine. It was very heart breaking even til today. Everyday her memory is strong. We have pics of her and videos. She try t relate to us by energy. There does not go a day without her name being said. Luv her and miss her a lot.
My Dads dimes…brand new condo and dimes appearing everywhere!
Such beautiful comments from all; my Dear Pet Frederick was 13 years old when I had to put him down. He was diagnosed with rectal cancer years before. I talked to him the day before he passed explaining to him about what was going to take place the next morning. I bathed him that morning and we talked again. As we entered the Vet’s office, he pulled back on his leach - not wanting to go inside. I felt so guilty for it was time - he was so ill. I cried and cried and cried!! About 4 times he came back and I felt his presence. I first felt him tugging on my bedspread (as he would do this when he had to go outside to use the bathroom). I also heard his claws stroking the carpet trying to wake me up!! I heard his soft barking trying to get my attention, etc. and more. Thank you Jesus for all these wonderful encounters!! Amen!!
I woke up and I went on Facebook I saw a picture of a kitten that looked like Apple I know he will guide the next week help will need to make things work and my late farther Marty I will continue to watch my dreams for the success of my dreams for his brothers and me to succeed!
I caught a glimpse of a basket I have and for a second, it looked like my beloved girl 😢. Plus the first three days after she passed, I would hear whimpering in my bathroom
I get the distinct feeling of a cat jumping up on the bed at night when I lay down to go to sleep, nearly every night. I have live cats so when I look to see which cat has jumped up, nothing is there. 🤷🏻♀️
I just lost my dog Daisy she was a chihuahua 3 weeks ago and I'm still grieving really hard over her I just want to know if she is okay and that I did the right thing cuz I am really feeling guilt of having to put her down and I really can't get over the guilt and wondering if she was in pain before she died and I was wondering if she had given me any signs and what I should look out for I miss her dearly she was my best friend and my little girl and was by my side everyday all day long and followed me everywhere and I just wish I could hold her a kiss her and tell her I love her one more time.😢

My Mom adopted the sweetest (yet broken) Toy Poodle from a Rescue I volunteered with. Twinkle (all 4 lbs) was something else! We had a strong bond. I wish I could have been her Mommy but quite frankly she was costly...needed many teeth pulled, a round of cancer. About a year after she passed (my husband and I went with Mom to say goodbye), I had my camera in my pocket and it went of by itself. I looked later and darned if it wasn't an orb of Twinkles little face. ♥️ Her so much.

I saw a shadow of my cat 🐈⬛️ Rio not long after he passed away last December 2021....I've also heard his meow...dreamt about him several times...even dreamt of my other cat Ktulu James who passed away in 2004 with Rio...they were sitting side by side. I still talk to them both especially Rio ❤️❤️

I lost my dog 3 years ago. Last night I had a dream that she came to visit and spend time with me and my family. I got to hold her and play with her again, and in the dream I was aware that she was visiting from beyond - it wasn't a dream about when she was with us. Interestingly I didn't come looking for videos about animal communication or anything related to my dream. As soon as the elk card came up I immediately felt my heart leap back to Alberta. I lived there for 35 years but due to an illness in the family I had to come back to Ontario. The upside down elk for me is what I felt like when I had to move to Ont. It turned my life upside down and I was very sad and still am that I had to leave and start life over here. Funny you mentioned white water rafting guide as I was never a guide but I did make numerous arrangements & went for trips down the Kicking Horse River in Golden, B.C.and the guide was a very close friend of mine. The elk in the famous Banff National Park were always a very powerful, heart throbbing sight and it was only a 45 min. drive away and a great place for hiking.
dear dr cara gubbins you are spot on your answers. my 18 year old tabby cat arthur was put to sleep due to cancer and very poorly in august 2023. week after i did a voice recording on my mobile phone asking arthur are you here with me. i heard a cat mewo. i seen shadow walking in from my room door. i saw a shadow walking pass me when i was sitting at my desk. i heard something walking on my carpet. i heard my bed makes a noise. when i am in bed at night times. i can feel something walking on my left knee and laying on my left knee. i cant feel a weight on my duvet just a strange feeling on my left knee. i know my boy arthur is with me what hurts i cant see him or cuddle him. arthur my cat was my mummy boy. he loved me when he was a live i know he loves me in spirits. i felt something brush against my left leg and pressure on my left leg. i felt something brushing and walking pass my right leg.
My rabbit died recently about 2 weeks ago. He died suddenly in front of me from what looked like a grand mal seizure. And for about 2-3 days after he died, I could still hear him happily hopping around. This brought me peace knowing he was okay. Once I was 100% sure it was him and he was at peace his hopping around stopped. I swear he was letting me know he was okay and happy. Thank you for the video!!

Just before I turned You Tube on and your video popped up as the first video on my feed I thought I heard my recently passed on kitty, Puff, meow as she had so many times in the past when she would come in from outside. Since she's been gone I have heard this meow and my mind immediately thinks shes come home. Only to realize that she's not coming home anymore but the coincidence of hearing her meow and then your video being the first I saw right after wondering if she could possibly be using that sound to let me know she's here... It must be her! I miss her so much and this video made me feel like I wasn't crazy to think she was here, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!

The day Gracie died my son and I took her to the vets to be cremated I was in major shock. In walks a lady with a black lab like Gracie. She also plays with my little dog Nacho all the time. They played everyday. Lots more number 222 started coming up that day as well.
Matilda passed away last year and I see her all the time. Just this morning I walked out of my room and I caught a quick glimpse of her sitting on the couch like she used and peer from the side to see me coming. She was a little shot I cross Maltese
Sometimes I see strangers out walking and will briefly see a dog walking or standing next to them. It's usually a few seconds, and then the dog isn't there anymore. I've always wanted to ask them if they used to have a dog but never have.
Yes that's what happened...I kept seeing her walking with me...also a sensation of her being there...sometimes I wasn't thinking about Sienna ..and I would get to our local path and she would come into my mind and I would sense her presence and see her out of the corner of my eye..something was happenning I'm sure !!!!

This Video was AWESOME!! I put my BELOVED Furbaby of 16 years to rest August 18 2022, I have his beautiful Urn on my mantel and he sends me all kinds of messages when I'm Really missing him and very Sad! Magic sends me a red Cardinal to my porch which is not in the birds flying path whatsoever. He sent a butterfly once in October a big one flew up to my window and flew away. Magic is with me all the time!!! MAGIC FOREVER IN MY HEART🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

I asked for a sign while I was watching a video about pet signs from them and my video camera in the living that my girlfriend and I used to talk to her on started to make a noise. It sounded like a single bark. Then I turned the video of to listen better and there was 3 little barks. I called my girlfriend at work and asked her if she tried to talk on it and she said yes but she didn't know why she felt like she had to do it...I told her what I heard and she said that was Honda our Chihuahua we had put down a week ago.
My Chorkie King was hit by a car on May 24th and I rushed him to the University Hospital and he had 2 fractured vertebrae and multiple pelvic fractures. He had surgery on his spine on the 25th and then surgery on his pelvic fracture (the weight bearing fracture) on the 28th. He was doing good and getting better. He had to have a blood transfusion on the first surgery and then again on the second surgery but someone grabbed the old blood from the first surgery that was on the 25th instead of getting new blood. The doctor mentioned a couple times that it could cause complications but that they were monitoring him. His bloodwork wasn't good anyway. They removed him from critical care and all the IV medications he was on and switched him to oral meds on the evening of Thursday June 3rd and moved him to general care. The last bloodwork on the 31st of May his numbers were still not good but they told me he could go home on Friday June 4th in the afternoon and I asked if that was too soon and they just said, "well once we move them from critical care to general we like to get them out of here as soon as possible". They told me how how to give his meds, told me to watch his two incisions, and told me they would like him to come back in a week, on June 14th for a week of formal physical therapy. He was paralyzed when I first took him there but the back surgeries were successful and he was no longer paralyzed and would have to relearn to walk again. I asked them about his bloodwork again on the day I went to pick him up and also about the questionable blood he was given for the transfusion on the second surgery but the senior student who was in the room to release him only said, "well his numbers still aren't great but we feel he's able to go home." He was doing okay up until Thursday the 10th when I noticed more bruising on his belly and we seemed lethargic and didn't want to eat anything. It seemed worse Thursday evening and I took him to my Vet's office Friday morning so they could check his bloodwork and she called and said I should take him back to the University Hospital because his Red Blood Cell count was 1.4 and should have been around 5.8. It's a 45 minute drive from my house so I asked if he would be okay and she said, yes, he would be okay for the drive there. He seemed okay until right before we got to the parking lot. He threw up but I didn't see him do it, then he was just laying on his side. My boyfriend dropped me off at the door and when I got him out of his crate he was completely limp and his breathing was so labored. I ran into the lobby in hysterics and they came and took him back and tried to stabilize him but he crashed and they did CPR but couldn't bring him back. He died at 5:46pm on June 11th and still cannot process it. I feel like I failed because no one told me to watch for any signs of anemia or anything to do with the fact that his bloodwork was not good. It's like they saved him and then sent him home too soon and set me up to fail. I just don't understand. I just can't get past it. I feel devastated clear to my soul. He was only 3 and he should not have died. I haven't gotten any signs at all so I don't know if he blames me or doesn't miss me. I just miss him so bad.
There is no blame where he went.
He is just resting and waiting for your emotion to feel him which is not easy for us human to feel what we can’t see, but it can happen if one desires it so much and the mind is ready to feel it. After the pet loss, there are so much sadness, self blame, guilt all negative emotions which blocks our mind from feeling the pure energy/ love from the pet. He is just waiting to be felt by you. It doesn’t happen easily and doesn’t last long when it happens, but when it happens it’s most amazing. When mind is most empty, all accepting, peaceful, they come to let us feel them.
If the pet feels the owner needs to hear from them, they have messages for you because they know what’s in your mind. What truly connects the deceased pet is Love. The connection is as rare as true love...but it finds its way to the person if the love is strong enough to cross the divide.
I learned from 2 yrs of heavy grief for my dog.
I am sorry to hear about your loss, what a sad story. I too, am waiting for something from my deceased dog Bella. It has been a little over a month. I must say the response from BS M, is very comforting and I hope it helps you.
I lost my girl on 9/20/2022 4 1/2 yr old I don't know why she died or how. She was my best friend she does all these signs!

I definitely do have I think there human spirit and enter my apartment especially at night. They come into my bedroom when I lay down. It’s almost automatic as soon as my head hits my pillow I can feel the vibration and I can feel its pressure touching me. I e had investigations done with the same results.
But now my Reese has pasted and I want so desperately to feel his presence. I’m not sure now when I get touched, if it’s the other spirits, or if it’s Reese.

Hi Dr. Cara I took your class on communicating with your deceased pet. I can't stop dozing off during, and therefore never get the experience that I should. I am desperately trying to get some kind of sign. It's been a little over a month since her passing. Has enough time passed? I heard of people seeing signs within a day or so.
Dr.Cara, How do you move into that mode of acceptance? I want a visitation from my cat in my dreams. She passed in January 2023. I miss her everyday!😭
I wish I could say anything has happened to show me my dog is still with me, but none of these has happened. She died Jan 2, 2023, so only almost a week ago and I haven't felt or seen anything. I am so devastated right now and in so much pain. I Really hope I will eventually get a sign from her. My mother passed on May 3, 2021 right before Mother's day and I haven't had anything from her either. The only thing that happened was that I thought I heard her voice the morning after she died while I was lying in bed before getting up. I hope it really was her. But other than that, nothing. I don't know if I have something wrong with me or if they just aren't trying to communicate with me. I feel so sad and alone right now ;(
My dog passed away 10 days ago. I'm devastated ... I feel so alone, I have never felt alone in my life ... but now this painful void is killing me, my appartment feels so cold and empty, I could have never imagined how this small dog filled up the space, here presence was all prevailing ... two times I had feeling I saw her with the corner of my eye ... but I'm afraid that was just what I was used to and my brain projected what I expected/was used to deep inside ... I would really need some sign that would be convincing, with no alternative/logical explanation. My mom also died couple of years ago and I got no signs from her either. So, I feel you. I wish to both of us something to relieve this pain and emptiness, to give us reassurance they are still with us. 🐕🐕💜🖤💜🖤

I've kept some of her fur in a bag and just hold it at times wishing I could hold her again, and I have her photo on my phone front/homepages. I got a couple of books by Rob Gutro called Pets in the Afterlife 1 & 2 which I'm reading now to try and help myself. Maybe they would help you too. I still cry thinking of my mother and she's been gone almost two years now. I hope healing comes to you Sweetie

I just lost my retriever mix, Max on 8-11 2023. He was 16 yrs. old. I’ve had him since he was 4-5weeks old. I know I’ll experience something but not yet. I will keep trying.🦮
One sign that I see. I got another dog after I had pretty much gotten over mourning the loss of my princess. And I noticed every once in awhile my new dog will demonstrate behaviors that were quite unique to princess. My new dog's name is Chula.
