I was a teen in the early 80's. I was into Heavy Metal and Thrash music. My Japanese wife told me about this band that was coming to do their first US Tour and she bought tickets.. I didn't wanna go see some Japanese rock band. I went to hundreds of concerts in the 80's and 90's and they all seem to be the same after awhile so I no longer go. But I'm glad I went. Never heard their music before but found it very good. The song Born To Be Free gave me the chills and I was hooked from there
Yoshiki cracks me up, with his "Roseland Ballroom", and then laughing after. It's gotta be difficult though, with an R right after an L. I hope to get to the Chicago show. I will be sad that it's not the whole group, but it should be really amazing. I love his TGIF.... :)
Thanks Yoshiki san. I actually was able to talk to him after Miyavi's concert this past May at Club Nokia( ps without his glasses, he he)and asked him about X Japan concert in LA.It was a special moment. Finally I will able to see a full X Japan Concert soon in the US. Thanks Yoshiki san .

@him89 i hope so too. its not often that bands come her more than once from japan to tour; most likely because there's not enough support. by support, i mean financially; it takes a lot to come here, and if you use a ton of money and don't at least break even, than its not worth it. maybe its wrong for me to think that way.........but i can't figure any better reason why so few j-bands return to america for a second tour.
