Yep thats a problem. G2 is only Eu Team that stands any chance internationally and they have no rival to improve against. So LEC level stays shit.

I honestly don’t really fw this. Game 1 starts with dom and the others flaming draft from G2 saying that BDS had a better one. G2 wins the game and they change their story to “BDS champs are so bad”
Is there something wrong with it? This is just how it goes, just bc there’s a team comp gap doesn’t mean that the game is won/lost. Champ quality can be better while having a worse team comp overall. Unless you disagree, I fully agree that bds has the better team comp but some of their champs are clearly weaker than g2’s on an individual level.
Like the aatrox killing viego at 1 hp without being super far ahead himself 5 min into the yt vid, viego is just a bad champ until he scales and gets resets in fights and it shows.
I honestly have no idea how Dom can pool trough these lec games.

@@medhattheripper7682Nah that’s a little revisionist. Rekkles at Worlds 2019 was the by far the best performing player on FNC and without him and Nemesis popping off (and Hyli to an extent), FNC never makes it to quarters out of a very tough group with a griefing topside.
He was mechanically better than Perkz. Though Perkz was definitely Top 3 in his region regardless: very self-sufficient and never a burden for his team.
The negativity on the LEC is too insane man. We have some washed up players like Gilius and (who even is the other one?) complaining about the level of LEC while they can't even find a team of their own and got kicked a long time ago. Yamato even for some reason is just annoying in these vids, while I normally love his breakdowns and analysis with Dom being the most reasonable one (and when he says something positive immediately everyone follows his lead). Stop circle jerking each other and watch the game without saying "my eyes" every three seconds, you're way more enjoyable that way Dom.
Yeah, I thought the reactions to BDS defending their base at the end of game 2 were particularly egregious and disrespectful. Of course BDS are still trying. Don't act like it's somehow the wrong thing for them to try and stay in the game. It should be admirable, not condemnable. That was so whack.
