I alternate between this area and DZ4 and avoid leaving a signature on the map by taking down controlled areas. Use only the DZ 5 (carpark structure) and the DZ 4 carpark extractions having the most exits the DZ 6 extract I find just seems to attract the most attention and if a squad is covering the exits is hard to run if you haven't spotted them in time. Marco uses the AB but for farming but i prefer Banshee naturally with Prosperous kneepads for extra credits per headshot kills, PvP doesn't much interest me anymore as it's mostly a 4 v 1 gank so I don't even bother shooting back. If I can't run just take the hit. Only lose most of your gear, can use the Ninja bag to hang on to that extra item if you are lucky enough to have one. Good high proportion of chests here in DZ 6 and 5 that you can even sneak into without agroing NPCs if you time it well
Marco nice cleanup of those rogues at the end. And for the guy asking if the DLC is worth it I think so. Survival is a blast. Underground is boring after awhile but if you're new it's one way to get named gear as only certain items drop from underground caches. I'm going back to get my UG rank to max on both my characters for that chance of a drop. Nice vid for the newbies. I solo DZ6 all the time and if you are crafty rarely do I have rogue issues. Just be aware of where they are and time your extractions.

Best way to play at night our dutch time towards the morning bc nobody is playing then dzs are empty at that point simple or i just run with my list a high end photo with all dz items & cashes bosses so on i just extract where its safe if i get attacked i rush away using short corner running you can escape 4 man rogues easy uf you learn how to escape propperly maby use defence ult for extra defence & run speed
Nice, i was actually running the DZ on my own last week just to get sealed caches and managed to get around 150k DZ funds in about 3-4 hours. Unfortunetly i have zero Dark zone keys.
Man, I happened to see LikeButter's video about this exact same subject before Marco's and man... what a complete difference. The difference is night and day in terms of quality. His descriptions, his detail, his observations, his relevant information and his lack of verbal diarrhoea. LikeButter talks *so fucking much* without actually saying things that are relevant. After seeing yet another video like this, it just reinforces my question of why the devs are so into what LikeButter has to say. He's NOT a top tier provider, he's not a good entertainer, he's NOT objective, he's NOT unbiased and he's totally incapable of seeing things ourside of his own little box and play style. He doesn't consider the big picture at all and it boggles my mind just how much the devs listen to him over people like Marco. Marco and Skillup clearly put A LOT time and effort into their videos, and they include graphics, actual THEORY and actual objectivity. It's ludicrous. Anyway, thanks for the information, Marco-it was super helpful and totally useful for me.
Good route, thanks! As far as playing in the DZ is concerned however. I'm a PVE player, I don't hide it, it's what I like to do, say what you will. Do I still go in the DZ? Yes. Why? Because I want to, because the AI is a bit more challenging and it's fun, because loot. I also want to get to rank 50 to unlock those blueprints, I wanna see what they are and what I can get out of them, currently lvl41. I have my route in DZ6 that I like to do, I know where the AI is and what they are going to be and what I can expect to face. Have I been ganked before? Of course :P Do I care? No, it's part of the DZ, I know there are going to be rouge players and that's fine. Just the other day was running through the Q building and a 4 man team basically ran their guns up my arse as they went past. So ya, that happened, I lost a key, some currency and a little exp. Meh, I'll leave the area for a while and come back later to see if they have buggered off. On the other side of that, last night was in the same area, Q Building, I started from the side closest to the checkpoint and as I got in further I could hear gunfire from other players on the other side of the building fighting mobs. Two man group as it turned out, now I'm wondering if they are going to go rouge on me or what. Next thing I know, I have an invite to their group as we check to see what the boss dropped. Cool! Now I'm running with two other guys doing the route from the Q Building, to Mid Town Music to the Pit and back to Q, with stops to extract along the way. At this point, personally, I have what I want for gear and guns, the only other thing I'm looking for in the DZ is a Hog, otherwise I don't pick anything up, so no yellow "Come Shoot me now Rouges!" sign on my back :P Have I gone rouge before? Yes, but by (stupid)accident. Just finished cleaning up some LMB from my extraction area and I see movement and what I thought was another LMB, I still had a red marker on my radar. I shoot and realise too late it's a player, I can't pull my gun away fast enough and go rouge. He reks me XD In chat he calls me out for shooting him but then asks why I didn't fight back. I said it was an accident thought he was LMB since I just finished killing, I thought, all of them, and still had red marker on my radar. I saw movement and fired without checking before hand, my bad. He understood and DIDN'T STEAL MY EXTRACTION! :D Awesome dude! This is how I play in the DZ as a PVE player. I do my route, keep tabs on where the rouges are, the game does tell you when a player is killed by another player and how far they are after all, useful info! If I feel they are getting too close I bounce and come back later. IMO, if you can't accept the fact that rouges can and will kill you at some point in the DZ, then stay out, simple as that, there is plenty to do in the LZ as it is anyway.

I've had tons of these types of messages and it just triggers me to see how shit players are and call out unnecessary stuff... Great video as always!

Nice video! only knew about half of those box locations. Been running the top of DZ from time to time with a D3+shield+famas build so i can take on anything really. Rarely run into anyone up there & if i do the are usually friendly. Then again i rarely stick around to find out. Definately can do the same at the lower dz zones even though that there is more pvp going on down there & dont forget that purple & blue boxes may not be as valuable but i can litterally get 9 of them and extract in less than 5 mins & sell the junk for cash or buy boxes. Must admit though that getting those Pnix coins is more iimportant so killing world boss every 4 hour is usually what i do.
I've ever seen a boss in the Q building. The first third of the video I do almost everyday and it works very well. For the most part, the gankers are in DZ 2 and the rooftop extraction in 6 is great, only 4 purples come and it's easy as pie.
MarcoStyle it would good to tell people to wait till supply drops to extract... and also fake extractions is i big thing i do on solo farms... works great at getting gankers confused....

I use Recon Pack pulse. With a Classified Strikers Build my skill power is only 2900 electronics anyway. And if I change it to Tactical scanner I only get 2% more CHC. Now I can see DivTech crates and every other loot and know which is shit and what isn’t. Been doing that since 1.7 now.
Right, I thought I had a lot of keys at 600+ What's funny is I don't ever bother with the Sealed Key boxes and go for the large chests that always contain a High End DZ Cache.
Well I'm not a PvP'er, I'm usually always playing by myself and ONLY hop in DZ when I am about 90% sure there arnt people at the DZ 5-6 areas to farm, as soon as I see shit getting crazy I extract as soon as possible then leave. Usually I am lucky farming for about 2 hours then all hell breaks loose, people just hunting for whomever is farming at the top(me) Had more successful runs then getting ganked by a team of 3 or 4, can't get too mad, theres literally no way for me to defend myself.
I like your method but i had trouble understanding where to go after the Q building. It was a bit hard to distinguish what you were saying and when you cut to another scene sometimes it was hard to determine where you where going

another tip I find useful is to extract when a supply drop is incoming. players ALWAYS gravitate to that instead of an extraction.

so at the end you kill a 4 man group with ease.. if they all focus fire on you, you should go down easily right?
im not the pvp type and every time i go into DZ i get the butterfly stomach effect of other players.i'm going to try the route.. your videos are very informative. keep it up.

i was wathing some old division vids but how do u get 1225 dark keys?
I use Recon Pack pulse. With a Classified Strikers Build my skill power is only 2900 electronics anyway. And if I change it to Tactical scanner I only get 2% more CHC. Now I can see DivTech crates and every other loot and know which is shit and what isn’t. Been doing that since 1.7 now.

What's funny is I don't ever bother with the Sealed Key boxes and go for the large chests that always contain a High End DZ Cache.

Well I'm not a PvP'er, I'm usually always playing by myself and ONLY hop in DZ when I am about 90% sure there arnt people at the DZ 5-6 areas to farm, as soon as I see shit getting crazy I extract as soon as possible then leave. Usually I am lucky farming for about 2 hours then all hell breaks loose, people just hunting for whomever is farming at the top(me) Had more successful runs then getting ganked by a team of 3 or 4, can't get too mad, theres literally no way for me to defend myself.

I like your method but i had trouble understanding where to go after the Q building. It was a bit hard to distinguish what you were saying and when you cut to another scene sometimes it was hard to determine where you where going
