I used to listen to this song back in 2011 when I used to live in El Salvador and did not have a clue about the English language. However, from the few words I understood from this song, I still found it so good to listen to it 🔥 Now that I’m a nurse and living in Los Angeles, California, it brings nostalgia to my heart because of all the hardships I’ve gone through. Dedicated this one to my lil brother. At a point when I heard this I was on my own. I was supposed to be the leader in our bunch. Cause of the fact that my older sister got so deep in the dark side of life the only person he and my lil sister could look up too was me. But I was so hurt at that time from the things we endured as children that the “parents” who adopted us couldn’t control me. So their only way of doin so was to get rid of me. And that’s what they did soon as I hit 18. It’s crazy cause when I think about it..I was literally alone at that time. Could of died so many times during than and no one would of known. Cause my original family lost contact with me due to them only being able to get ahold of me through my adopted parents. I could tell my little brother was hurt and that I let him down getting kicked out. The way we always connected was through music. It was a long time until I heard from my brother again..we have a very good relationship today and this track I finally got to send it to him to let him know during the times I’d think of him during that period this is what I’d play to keep him close. I hope all y’all hold yours down in the realest way. However it may be just stay solid and make sure they know you love em ya feel me.
