ThaDon Melo recently sat down with Arlen Seaton, an artiste, songwriter and vocalist, to discuss his life, music and experiences as an artiste in Antigua and Barbuda. In the interview, Arlen shared his upbringing, his journey from medicine to music, and what the future holds for him.
Arlen Seaton grew up in St. Kitts/Antigua, where he was exposed to music at a young age and credits his family for his love of music. Although he initially pursued a degree in medicine, Arlen eventually realized that music was his true passion and decided to pursue it full-time.
He spoke about the challenges faced when he decided to career. He shared that he had to overcome the fear of failure and the uncertainty that came with pursuing a career in music. However, with the support of his family and friends, Arlen was able to take the leap and pursue his dreams.
We spoke about what it is like to be an artiste in Antigua, and the importance of staying true to oneself and creating music that is authentic and meaningful.
Arlen Seaton shared that he has several projects in the works, including collaborations and the release of new music.
