And the English was taken from two different sources anyway. The kingdom of heaven is also at hand. I think we all grasp the meaning and don't forget this was a TV series, not a Shakespearen play. It had to be easily understood by a wider TV audience.
And heaven isn't within us anyway, only the potential is, it is clearly a seperate realm. Unless you're like some new age christ consciousness type nutjob
