Apparently, musicians at a high level compose their music in the mind, and they speak it out with their instrument. I doubt if Buckethead ever writes down his notes, or if somebody else does this for him. We modest players would buy them along with his music, he is the greatest guitarist, composer and teacher of our time.

100%. Sometime after 2010 maybe before I could tell buckethead stuff became jam sessions. From colma through 2000s Buckethead albums are more structured songs. Even escape from inbred mountain, made up of parts. I don’t know

Wish I could like this and many of his Pikes more than once. WOW. What an emotional, powerful piece track 1 is. Such feeling, sadness, loss, longing, and so much more.

Descrever MIDNIGHT SUN é tarefa difícil. Arrisco dizer, definitivamente, a obra maior de Buckethead até agora. Parece que tudo foi pensado com extremo cuidado. Guitarras que choram e que parece-nos dizer que a perfeição existe. Arranjos impecáveis. Talvez a definição do que é "SUBLIME". O impossível parece ser possível nos dedos desse gênio. Na verdade uma avalanche de sons harmônicos, formando uma peça única e singular de musicalidade celestial. Ele busca o inalcançável e parece conseguir. Você é humano mesmo, Buckethead?

A lot of "Comfortably Numb" influence on this... Roger Waters should put him on guitar on his next album. Buckethead is unsurpassable.
He is too good for even Roger Waters. Best he just does his own thing, which happens to be better, than everyone else!💖
@@tombreeze2055 Dave Gilmour is the only guitar player that can use his whammy bar to change octaves and hit perfect notes. He literally can make his strat play like ten guitars. 8 octaves down and 2 octaves up. He plays a perfect guitar, with perfect intonation, with perfect effects. I love Buckethead. Buckethead is the only guitar player that has achieved a David Gilmour level of guitar playing. I've seen both of them play live many times and both of them are hypersonic with their own styles. The fact that Gilmour can sing and play puts him in a different league. The fact that Buckethead can play 20 notes per second and hits notes with precision is amazing. I'd still like to see him record with Roger Waters. Buckethead made the album with Viggo Mortensen called "Intelligence Failure". So, I don't think a song or two with Roger would be too much of a reach. It would also be cool to get David Gilmour to jam with Buckethead.
