Hey markus, this'll be my 3rd reply in 3 videos of yours ive actually sat amd watched (as opposed to backgrounding, you know what I mean). So, i've been.watching a fair bit of tom sosnoff and those guys over at tastytrade, and they focus on totally different strategies so maybe its not comparable, but one thing they say is "trade small, trade often"; i think the intersection of your two views on trade frequency is that you dont want to be managing your existing positions too often, but do want to be making a number of small separate trades a day (1-2% of BP each up to maybe 30ish% of available BP is their recommendation, if im remembering the limit right anyway), assuming the opportunities are good ones of course. More positions of modest size means more opportunities to profit and of course greater diversification. So with that context my question is this: does the distinction between management trades and position open/closing trades make sense to you, or are they all in the "too many trades" category for your strategy/feelings about the market? Personally i think it "lines up" with my favorite mathematical fact, the LLN (in a suuuuuper informal sense, of course).
I am looking at RIDE today and it is bad BUT they just announced they are shipping their first orders a year after this stream aired. I really want an update on this in 6 months. If their products is in fact perfected and ready for sale then it is conceivable that a small investment right now could make bank.
Markus it makes so much sense, you have the ability to explain complicated concepts in a straightforward way and that’s why I’ve followed you every day since I discovered your UA-cam channel. keep up the good work because even after 15 years of trading I am still learning things from you 👌. André from montreal Canada
I have watched many of your videos Your calm cool and collected affect along with confidence in your strategy and showing worst case scenarios that go along with your trading strategy makes me confident in following your strategy and my future financial endeavors. You seem to enjoy talking about trading and informing others in how to succeed alomg with you Thank you so much for what you do
Keep us update it with your RIDE position, I was also trading it buy had to close at a loss of $500 dollars but saw your position and its losing over $40,000 dollars, basically erasing all your gains for the year. Would love to see if you can bring it into positive trade
During the second crash, I changed my strategy and used options PUT SELL and actually got a return of $1500! I'm still learning but that was my first gain so far because of your lessons.
That's where I'm at. I trade the wheel successfully (mostly with no scanner). I have recently been using the TOS scanner with my own parameters but the market has been rough so it's hard to say how that's been doing. I'm skeptical that this tool would make a significant difference for me but would be open to being proved wrong.
Hi Excelife. You can actually request for a walkthrough of the Power X Optimizer. Paul can show you how we use it while trading The Wheel as well as The PowerX Strategy. Just email social@rockwelltrading.com. PS The walkthrough is for free. :
@@rockwelltradingservices Oh? I’m day trading MNQ & NQ and sometimes the MES & ES Futures from a trading platform called Tradovate, LLC since August 7, 2020. At first I’d to demo trade and get to know these products for about 6 months. Then started my live account. I’m still learning. I don’t mind the commissions being high. Nowadays the commission fees for NQ/ES is $1.23, NFA is $0.02, and Clearing fee is $0.09 per contract. And for MNQ/MES is $0.25, NFA is $0.02, and the Clearing fee is $0.09 per contract.
Markus, I was looking through charts and notice lots of selling off before earnings in smallcap growth stocks. I'm guessing it's to shake out weak hands who buy short term options for earnings. Just an observation. Can you fill us in on this phenomenon or do a video
I needed this. You have made it clear to me that My strategy needs work. I really dont have one so Ive pretty much been gambling rather than trading. Thanks for making the video. I have subscribed and check out more of your videos.
Hi Jame, I used to be a day trader but these days - as I am getting older - I am swing trading stocks and options. Usually short term swing trading, i.e. 5-20 days.
Hello Markus. I have to preface this by saying that your channel is great. I've been on here for a couple weeks and learned a lot. But when you talk about the wheel strategy, I feel a little left out. LOL. It's because I've started investing and trading last month. And all you've been talking about was the wheel strategy and I'm lost. LOL. So I'm still a new guy and was wondering if you can possibly make a video telling us beginners other strategies other than the wheel.
I like your trading style, only I think I would prefer not to put quite so much in a single stock. I'm doing 5 different stocks right now, but only a couple options each. Of course my portfolio isn't the size of yours! But even as I grow it, I'll probably buy no more than 10 options per stock. I'm still new so who knows, but that's my current strategy. Is that a dumb to way think? I'm a fairly cautious trader.
Hi Greeny. This works for US market only. If you want to learn more about it you can request for a walkthrough with Paul through social@rockwelltrading.com.
Matkus, i think itis better to hedge short puts with short stock to have lesk risk a short put with delta minus 40 needs 40 stocks to be delta hedge you will still profit from theta thow
The problem with that is if it jams, you get screwed on the short stock. I do it the other way around, short the stock, wait for downticks and then short puts to cover. The trick is finding good short candidates and I may start looking at pxo picks for that. I'm a longtime short seller so it's more natural for me to do those plays.
I have two, one for each of the two strategies I trade. PowerX Strategy Book: bit.ly/2wMQ7zW Wheel Book: www.rockwelltrading.com/the-wheel-options-strategy-book/
I lise money cause i don't do any of what i should do and instead flip a coun on whether i buy the option or not then flip again on should i at least attempt to make money or give mysrlf a reason to commit tax fraud
If. Rash happens, stovjs nay loose 80% of vslue and stay there for 10 years. That is only scare thing in wheel strstrgy. Interestingly, how you plan to deal with this? Ahich possible crash.
I hear people all the time talking about the money they lost today because the stock tanked. I just laugh to myself. There are only 2 ways to lose money on a stock, company folds and stock become worthless, or selling when it tanks. Those people are crying about losing money while I am buying the exact same stock so I can make money. Yes entrance matters but exit is when you make or lose money. Stocks are not money, and you did not lose any stocks. Stock are what you buy or sell for money. They have no real value UNTIL you trade them.
Just started trading the wheel strategy and its been going well, how much do you recommend trading the wheel with? Im using about 40% but I've heard most use 60% or even more with this strategy as it seems fairly safe and less risky
I only trade US stocks. I have never traded Indian stocks so I can't teach you. If you are interested in trading US stocks, I have lots of information about that. 👍

I would recommend at least $25,000.
That's a good episode, thanks, Markus.
