Well, I opted to have the Machamp card graded AS A PACK instead. This was after I got an email from PSA explaining how the Machamp still in the cellophane wrapper could not be graded as a card, but an alternative was to get it graded as a pack. So to get the result I got from it despite all that communication was a bummer.
