I love this guy's voice. Not just when he sings, when he talks too. Just a phenomenal performer and teacher. I'm gonna be trying this out for an open mic this week. Thanks for making it possible!
Stevie Wonder's Innervisions album came out when I was 3 years old and this is actually one of the first ever songs that I remember. That whole album was like a beautiful dream. I rediscovered it when I was about 8 and learned ALL the lyrics.
I’m much younger than you but I think Innervisions is Stevie’s best work next to Songs in the Key of Life, his opus. EVERY song on Innervisions is essential and none can be discarded. They’re all necessary for the whole of the album to function and they are all timeless recordings.
@@karlismusik Right. Such a hard driving tune. He is amazing at describing his message musically. This tune is driving and pushing and climbing as if it's trying hard to reach a higher ground.
Thanks, I love your tutorials, I think that you are a really good teacher. So glad that you do this! I love every little thing about them! Happy New Year!
Keep this up and you'll have 100k subs one day! You are so money man. Just make sure you are making short tutorial clips from these that you can post of tiktok, instagram reels, yt shorts, facebook, twitter... the short video format will get more eyes on this and is easier to catch hella views and get into people's feeds that wouldn't have happened upon you otherwise. Also not just for your tuts but any musical stuff you do
Coming back to this video, your voice is sooooo amazing. It's funny to me that i'm watching a piano tutorial (which you're also killing). Do you have any original music? I wanna listen to more!
Hey Karlis! I love your lessons they are so great. Can you please do some Stuff Richard Tee piano lessons? I would love to learn some of “Ode to Stuff”. I know you are the man to teach it! Thanks
Hey there, I just came across this tutorial. I recently started playing keyboard and this is one of the first songs I want to learn. It's a bit difficult trying to keep up with the piano display as it moves fast and some of the notes are lightly tapped. When a chord is mentioned I see one or two notes tapped in the right hand. I'm trying to figure out which notes to play in the chord and what inversions they are. I've slowed down the video and still having a difficult time. Could you mention the names of the notes and break it down into smaller pieces with a little more repetition at a slower pace? Much appreciated.
dope tutorial, just one chord I noticed is wrong, and its right after the transition of the F dominant 7th chord that leads to that Db. That chord is Db in bass(LH), (RH)F,B,Eb(B flatted 5th over Db) instead of the Db maj.
Why don't you show the rhythm you are playing on the Turnaround without singing? Your voice is so distracting that I can not figure out that part correctly. But the rest of it is good.
Great voice!!! I wasn’t expecting that!!!!
Thank you so much!
Damn!!! Greeeeat voice
