It was nice to watch how the People of Philippines were happy and eager to receive the leader of the Church to their country. I myself feel proud to be a Catholic, to have such a great leader who visits every nook and corner of the world to inspire and uplift the faith of the believers of the Church. Yes, it is because our Church was founded on the rock of Faith by our Lord and Savior, and it still continues from St. Peter to Pope Francis. "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it". May God bless you all from His abundance!

Pope Francis in Philippines: Six million people attend outdoor Mass event in heavy tropical rain
A crowd of around six million people flocked to the tropical rain-soaked streets of Manila, in the Philippines, to see the Pope today during a huge outdoor Mass session.
The number of people surpasses the five million who attended an appearance by St John Paul II in the same park spanning 60 hectares (148 acres) in 1995, Vatican spokesman Reverend Federico Lombardi said.

The above is not about a record breaking of having 6 millions faithful Christian of attending this outdoor Mass during a heavy rain. It is all about faith, love, peace. These Christians pray for the good of the whole world, they pray for every human in regarding of their religions. Of course you don't find a single terrorist among the 6 millions not to mention about bombers. Today, you don't find Christians of killing one another and crying out in the name of God and of course there is no such ' silly thing ' as a ' holy war '

In f first place, wen he heard d news about Yolanda, long b4 he came here, he had already gave an amount 2 pra sa pgpapatyo ng knyang pope Francis foundation pra sa mga btang naulila ng bgyo (of course, hndi nman nya pngyayabang un kya wlang msydong nkk.alam). 2nd, his sincerity 2 show his concern and love was best seen wen he came here in flesh. 3rd, his message were far enough 2 lift up those heartaches dat d Yolanda brought. Ung iba nghhnap p ng Bible verses of his messages, pra ano? Pra ipakta sa lhat kng gnu xa kagaling at bihasa sa bibliya? Pra sa kin, his msg. was just so appropriate 2 reach out those people who were devastated by d typhoon 2 its simplest way na kht ung pnaka.simpleng tao ay mkaka.relate at mkaka.identify sa kng paanong paraan gs2ng ipakta at iparamdam ng Panginoong Hesus ang Kanyang pgdamay sa atin. No one should make you feel closer to God but yourself- James 4;8 says draw close to God and He will draw close to you- the pope has not got the power to make you closer to God- he is a regular sinner like the rest of us....
He is a regular sinner like us but he has this charisma to people. When he speaks, it really comes from the heart and we can easily internalize. He showed us a new expression method to spread the love of Jesus Christ, as well as mercy and compassion.

Yes, I for one is more compassionate to others, specially the needy because that is one of his preachings when he was here. Just one person that makes a lot of difference in this world. Ted Bundy and Our Pope is totally different people, Pope's charm inspires us to do good...proof? No crime rate was recorded in Manila during his 5 days visit to the Philippines.
