Excellent production! Thanks for taking time to produce and post. When I was a park ranger at Mission San Jose in 2001 I spent hours looking at the ruins from across the river. I had always hoped that someone would bring the site back to life one day.

I wish they would restore it and make it into a museum if they have old pictures of only they had pictures of the famous people that stayed there. That would make money to restore it

I grew up near there we use to go fish the river as we walked by we could smell the sulphur springs water. We always wondered why no one ever revitalized that hotel it had so much character and history. It is my opinion "The problem nowadays that to many people don't give importance to such a historical ICON as the Hot Wells Hotel and have no interest in preserving something so truly Texan in its History!".

I recently went to see if it really exist and was surprised. It was dark so my pictures didn't come out too well but I think its awesome. I would like to see it in the daytime but I work in daylight hours.

Recently my class went there on a tour, you just gotta ask the care takers permission to be on the property, I forgot their names, but it is a guy who is the caretaker and his wife. And you can even go into the hot spring which isn't big, but considering its in ruins right now, one cannot complain.
