I have the same engine, very smooth for a diesel. I do hear a very specific diesel noise in lower revs on 1st gear under a bit on load.

M57d30 so reliable engine! Especially 218ps/500nM. Mine has 240 t.km and pulls so strong. Pay attention o swirl flaps.

Unfortunately lots of problems with injectors (expensive!) and xdrive. Otherwise I would buy a used one.
Everything related with bmw is expensive but haven't heard anyone around me driving that car having any problems with injectors or xdrive. Mine is the same as in the video but 2016 model which is the same. No issues for 2 years of ownership.
