_Oh gosh, the motivation to Save the Queen right now is strong...the energy of this song, with the full orchestra, whilst maintaining the sound pallette of IX is delicious to listen to._
I said it once and I'll say it again: Beatrix is the Steiner we never got. Her motif is way more present throughout the game than Steiner's - we hear his only once while roses of May, The wavering blade/blade of doubt and Something to protect all share the same motif. It's just as recognisable as Melodies of Life (another one heard rather often). Plus: Beatrix fits the characters association with Death much better than Steiner does: While Steiners background as knight captain proposes the idea that he had his hands in some killings, it's safe to assume that he slew monsters, Not people. Beatrix.on the other hand? She even herself as "Beatrix, knight General of Alexandria who bested a hundred men single handedly." She is directly involved with war and ending people's lives. The *only* reason I imagine why we didn't get her is: we'd have 3 healers and her arch needs time to develop
