Just getting started in casting my own bullets. I have a Knight Wolverine inline .50 cal that is a 1:28 twist and have been looking for a good mold to use. Sounds like this one may be what I need to get going. Thanks for the video!
Pretty simple, I just run them through the Lee .501 sizing die that goes in a regular reloading press. I lube the bullets by hand prior to loading them at the range.
I use the same bullet for years it works very well in my Thompson ranger 50 CAL 1”&48” twist. I started sizing them but having trouble finding the right top punch. what size do you use?
I use the Lee 501 push through sizer. Quick and easy, I lube the bullets by hand at the range. Finding a sizer and top punch for my RCBS lube sizer was a pain so I use the Lee sizer.
Would love to see a video of you testing this round in a wolf 1:28 twist as well as 1:48 twist and like to know the velocity and muzzle energy do you think this is a good hunting round for deer or larger game up to 200 yards and closer
Good day, hoping you can better asit me, well I have a .50cal sennaxa Double shot airbrifpe, and want to know where can I find the mold/cast for the slugs?
Exactly what i was looking for. I am considering this mold to cast bullets for a cva wolf. Thanks for posting
Great mold for that rifle. I shoot them in an older CVA Wolf myself
Cast some today. They are coming out .503. I'll Alox them tonite, and I'm gonna try em out tomorrow.

My mold is casting a tad bigger than my bore diameter. Could you post a video on how to size them down for easier loading?

I would think it would do a number on game. I am a target shooter, not a hunter.
