Ronn, I can't believe I missed you posting this. It's incredible. I wondered what the vapor trails were going to look like. I'm so glad you caught it, you're amazing!
Fabulous video! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I didn't even know this was scheduled, and by cheer luck managed to capture some of it on a few pictures I took of the Aurora from Anchorage. Didn't know what it was till later that night after I got home. I'm going to share this on my Facebook page so some of my friends who don't follow your page can see this also. What a gift you have give us!
I don't belive the NASA even to tell me what time it is ... This is truelly looking like water and that the earth is really fixed , not moving. this is awesome !
This video is absolutely spectacular. There are no words to describe the beauty and awe of it all. Kudos! Just out of curiosity, what is the song you used for the video.
***** yw! hey you should visit Iceland for eve online's fanfest 2015. it is scheduled to coincide with an eclipse *edit: to film an aurora during the eclipse*
Why would you fire something so harmful into something so beautiful? Are you all mad, with all your weapons now you have to shoot the beauty of the skies. When will you all stop being so destructive? Can you not understand that this beautiful sky was created by the universe for all to enjoy. Blessings and healing to you.
DebbieLeeMacDonald Go give them a hug, be careful though, you don't want to *HARM* it.. Also it's just a rocket to provide a bright cloud to show the interactions of solar winds and earth's atmosphere, and the rockets were picked up afterwards, i at least hope so.
more nonsense from the good guys at nasa...my god it looks so real...love the music all the way through this mish mash ..makes it even more wishy washy..

No camera on the rocket so we can see it up close?
Unfortunately not. That would have been spectacular though and I do believe they have sent cameras up in the past.

using dslr ? brightness is pretty low
Stars down to and below 5th magnitude are visible. That approximates the view you'd get with your own eyes if you were there.
