Joel should have had a longer story and made the world a better place for Ellie like how Rick did for Carl. Imagine if Rick got beaten to death by the governor and the rest of the story revolves around Carl’s revenge and the governor’s life story -_-
@@Alpha1918 the story and ending I had in mind would be Joel and Ellie going through their father/daughter stuff for a bit, Joel sees the movie with Ellie and the gears are in motion for her to forgive him but then later on, Abby’s community plans an attack on Jackson for what happened at the hospital. Joel, Ellie, and everyone else pretty much go to war with them and same thing as walking dead (comic series) Joel has to strategize how to deal with these factions of antagonizers (scars and wolves) he rallies his community (Jackson) and eventually they come out on top. Joel becomes a redeemed Christ figure like Rick was, his relationship with Ellie is restored, and since the world is getting semi back to normal, that’s when Ellie fully forgives him but you see her start to lighten up to him as the story progresses through the game. joel and ellie meet Nathan drake and Elena on the island that those 2 moved to, Ellie has a new friend (Nathan’s daughter) and everyone lives happily ever after. As it should be.
The biggest problem with the last of us 2 is that they trapped Joel and Tommy as if they werent smart. Ye there was a bunch of infected trying to catch em but I think that horses ares faster and able to run for a longer period than humans/infected.
I mean they did escape on horses, didn’t they? Idk, it seemed to me that they did the best the could out of their situation, since the lodge was one of the safest places they could have gone to. They couldn’t have known that those people were there to hunt them down.
They tried to save people they didn’t know… showing how far Joel has come as a human being… don’t play the game if you don’t understand what’s going on
