A total of 66 goals was scored in this fast paced match between the 1st teams of Tygerberg High and Bellville High. Having match each other on the score board for some time, Bellville then build a lead of 7 goals. It was towards the end of the 3rd quarter that Tygerberg started to pile on the pressure to eventually pull ahead to win by 4 goals.

@@PinProMedia Really great video! I was wondering though, it seems that the teams are split based on the race of the players (White vs Black)? Is this a normal thing in thing in South Africa or just coincidence? I mean no offence, just noticed this and was curious about why.

@@CookieDough97 A good observation! In South African sport, team selection is not based on race (anymore), but on merit. Tygerberg does not have "white" learners / players of the same standard to represent their 1st team. The same goes for Bellville. Schools are situated in different areas with different demographics. I.o.w. if the majority of players to select from is of color / or not of color, that selection pool may be reflected in the team, as is the case here with these two teams.
